In the future, Facebook will be replaced with a new and better social media, and Mark Zuckerberg will sell his company for whatever money he can get and retire. Elon Musk will be sending people to Mars, some people will die along the dangerous journey, and we will begin colonizing Mars with humans. There is going to be a deadly virus breakout that will wipe out many people, a new virus never heard before. There will be a lot of natural disasters, as a result of climate change. more cities destroyed by storms and wildfires. The population will increase significantly, and demand for food rises. since veganism has become so popular and Mexican immigrants are banned from working, there becomes a shortage of farm workers and food. America will be behind and no longer the leader of the free world, due to constant conflict of Republicans and Conservatives, they forgot they are actually one country together.

You're making the same post hoc fallacy as the kind you explain in the video when you illusify the end of history claim: You're reading it in modern context when the concept of government has been refined with new words, as opposed to his original context when what he meant by the kind of government wasn't what it means now. You can always say things are changing yet you can always consider it as well to be the case that change is illusory and the real things never change. The same idea applies to words and their meaning. Pro tip: if your story sounds one sided and unambiguous, you're lacking other sides and good nuance.

Im not sure if this is smart or right. Cause i disagree with what that study found out. Cause ppl have an amazing ability to change if they decide to do so. But most are lazy and the way society is built makes it even more difficult. If they tried that test again with ppl who had learned how to focus/meditate and actually knew how to set goals properly, the results would not be the same.

I very much doubt the setup of this study. Human memory is a very unreliable source of information, which means that those who were asked about their past provided inaccurate information. The results of this study would be more robust if they asked the same persons twice, with ten years in between.

They didn't consider the human factor. There will always be people who want war. A country's history ends when the country no longer exists. The history of mankind ends when there are no more humans. It's that simple. Sorry my horrible realism is destroying your utopias. But I hate false hopes.

Just goes to show we cant properly grasp the nature of the future until we're living in it. And in the opposite fashion, we couldn't have properly grasped the present in the past like we do today. Huh.

That scientist adjusting her glasses at 1: 40 and the glasses falling back at 1: 48 is what I call comedic timing 10 out of 10
