ive known this story from few sources but there are so many details in this version i never knew about, i wonder what source he got a lot of the extra info. like caracaracol being like a title, and that there were others decended from him? are the caracaracol the bohike- shamans? Why did he leave out the part about the secret of cassava and their grandfather which is why he spat the sittle at deminan?

It's cool that they included deformed people in their creation myth. It is somewhat true that people with ailments experience the world more differently than most and it is definitely true that their outlook on the world can be very useful. Very wise was whoever gave them a purpose and position in society through the legends that were passed down through time.

i have had a direct connection to the cosmos that allows spirits speak through me much like edgar cayce did. the federal government has known about it for decades and has kept it covered up because these things don't happen in their state of mind.

I'm glad you posted this; it's teaching me one of my ancestors' stories.
I'm disconnected from their home island and from most of that side of my family, so I'm not sure where I could've learned it if not here

It is strange that the sisters in my family who have more health problems also seem to be more spiritually intune. My Doctor said we probably all just have an autoimmune disease we inherited in the womb or something.

An interesting fact is that the Taino were slowly disappearing even before columbus, as they were being over run and assimilated from the more militaristic south american tribes migrating north
