an even better way for them to do this is to just make an xbyx square in the top left corner of the paintings, where x is jsut a unit that really would just depend on the grid size. I mean, you said it's to defile it, right? people would still be pretty pissed about a quarter of their face being blotched out with paint.

I would just start it in the top left pixel, then loop paint, go right and down until he can't go down anymore, then go to the bottom left and loop paint, go right and up until he can't go up anymore. He should be able to tell when he can't go any further, so the size of the square wouldn't matter.

I solved it but only thought about the last pattern lol I didn't even think that we can do other patterns. that moving diagonally by going right once-going down once-paint and loop then make a new code for when doing the other side seems the easiest for me

I'm not a coder. but it seems easier to have it start in the top corner and paint that square, then travel down 1 and right 1 and paint, repeat until unable. Then travel up until unable. Then repeat the original process traveling left instead of right. ?

I thought the painting one was start in the corner, paint, forward one space, turn right, forward one space, paint and repeat till you get to the end. Then go down till the end and repeat but instead of right go left.
OBVIOUSLY IM WRONG.

Why is it that i find it hilarious that Hedge turned vandal and defaces several self-portriats like it was going out of fashion like that?
I'm an artist, and i should not like that kind of thing. Oh well! This show IS AWESOME!

So. x = pixels wide, start in the upper left corner facing right, until x = 0, x = x - 1, paint, go forward x times, turn right, 3 times, x = x - 1, paint, go forward x times, turn right, go forward, next painting?
reply

For putting x mark on the painting, couldn't we have started on the upper right hand corner and put left, down and paint commands in a loop? And then the conditioninf could be to

Your solution was surprisingly complicated what with memorising how many you have to skip, this is a different type writter approach:
