Following the battles of north and south Korea and the American tankers that went on a rescue mission James: Awesome video! I spent a year in Korea, 1992-1993, with A Co, 2nd Engineer Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division, Camp Castle, which was roughly 1 mile north of Tong Du Chon and about 12 miles or so south of the DMZ. Mission was to survive long enough to make to defensive positions along the Imjin River; create defensive obstacles; and die in place until re-inforcements arrived. Our B Co was tasked with the destruction of Freedom Bridge; then die in place. Had the opportunity to take a tour up to Panmunjong and see the security forces; se the border; and actually walk roughly 12' into North Korea - there was a building on the border sat on the border that literally had a white line painted through it depicting the border and a conference table inside with the border painted onto as well. We were allowed the around that table 9under the eyes of North & South Korean Security personnel) and thus able to claim that we were in North Korea. Also got to see PROPOGANDA VILLAGE and the Bridge of No Return.

So you fired 20 M1 bazooka rounds into the frontal armor of T34 85 and then surprised that they just bounced off. Sheesh. I guess these U. S. soldiers didn't learn much from fighting German tanks in WW2. M1 bazooka only had penetration of 76mm of armor which is woefully inadequate for any frontal engagement for most tanks. Were they not taught this fact? The side and rear hull of T34 85 are only 45mm of armor. This really shows how poorly trained the soldiers were who were there initially in Korea and how much U. S military allowed itself to degrade it's once mighty army so quickly after the end of WW2. Ungrateful South Koreans even tried to dismantle the monument dedicated to General MacArthur who saved their country. Such a shame so many brave men lost their lives trying to protect that ungrateful country which now is bending over backward siding with the exact same communist China who invaded their country. Irony.

The veterans story DOES not matter. The only thing that matters is the truth. We love our boys (from the 1950's) We love our American boys. And, black or white, or any man or woman in Korea who understood would be shocked today: The United Nations: with friends like that who needs enemies? The fact is the REDS were bad- but it is not a fair fight when the Elites in London and the Swiss and the Vatican align with UN (see Rockefeller) in NYC /and THEY (even back then) are giving critical information to the other side and so-called POTUS like Truman are in conflict with real Americans like Macarthur. And the General had to go -and the communists have a friend: The Rocks and Roths and the UN building in NYC! This is not known to the poor, innocent few who die

I miss my grandpa and I wish he talked more about what he did in the military. He was a master sergeant for the USAF, he fought in the Vietnam and Korean War. Hes now buried at the Sacramento cemetery in Dixon California. Rest In Peace master sergeant Lawrence S. DeVore. I will always remember pushing you at the grocery store in your wheelchair when I was a kid and Im sure all your brothers in arms will remember what you did for them.

Used to clean farrowing barn on weekends for a neighbor out north of us on the weekends early 70's. I was just a teenager out for some spending money. This neighbor had driven tank in the Korean War. All he would ever tell me is I drove tanks for the army in Korean. Then it was like shut up and get back to work.

But these were T-34-85, no? The 85mm (ZiS-S-53) was packing a pretty good punch. they really had balls to encounter them frontally with a Chaffee (Light-Tank for scouting) this 75mm was maybe good to kill Trucks or small fortifications, but was not meant to kill/engage tanks

Truman should have let the generals fight the war and kept the politics out of it. Typical! Lot of good men died because of a worthless politician. Should have bombed china into the stone age, liberated them from communism, and we wouldn't have to be plagued by CCP now.

The united nations contributed manpower not just americans. they dont mentioned about the filipino the 10bc battalion of the phil army they fight bravely While they cut a lot of chinese communist army in the battle of yultong. While others withdraw their troops.

For idiot college kids who are indoctrinated to believe communism is cool. They think wearing their Che Guevara t-shirts makes them seem tough or edgy, while they fully take advantage of the capitalist system that made them into spoiled, vacuous little sheep.

It wasn't MacArthur that said take it all the way. The UN, which was in charge of the operation, instructed MacArthur to go all the way up to the China border. It was not MacArthur that was determined to pursue the enemy tanks. This is factually wrong.

my dad got wounded in his hand three days after he arrived. He was sent to Japan and then to San Francisco. to continue with more surgery. Back in the day this type of wound were treated with low tech. As a result he never was able to move his fingers

The Pershing, Sherman and T-34/85 are all good tanks and when you say one is superior to the other you should keep in mind that design philosophy/use and crew experience need to be considered as to why one preformed better than the other

People can be nice but with availability of right environment, the evil nature of selfishness of man can be shocking, and this is all men without the Holy Spirit of Christ controlling them. History like this shows that trust only God

What I dislike of this movie is that it was made for TV with commercials, we DON'T have that here so it is irritating to hear everything 2 to 3 times!
