A repeated consistent theme behind these and other similar atrocities - let's also not forget assaults on human rights carried out elsewhere - is people considering themselves superior, and therefore supposedly entitled to subject other people to mass degredation, torture and destruction. The perpetrators of the worst crimes are always those keen to proclaim narcissistic fantasies of being intrinsically super-human, while ironically showing themselves to be depraved degenerates, as inferior as it is possible to be relative to their victims. I have the feeling that they are driven by an urge to destroy because deep down they know they are not really worth a handful of dirt.

Just stumbled onto this and must say I am horrified, I guess ordinary people like me never really got to know what horrific things happened back then, how men could be so cruel and do experiments like these with no empathy is beyond belief. I would like to think lessons have been learnt but again I agree with someone else's response, for all we know experiments may still be going on in places. All I could say to people is try enjoy life as freely as you can and don't always assume people in power have your best interests at heart, or that scientists and drs will always abide by laws. Saddened and sickened for all the people that suffered.

This is truly one of the most difficult and disturbing documentaries, Ive ever watched. My mother is a Holocaust survivor, so I have always been aware of these things, but this is like nothing else. I couldnt tear myself away though, because, despite this being so difficult, I think everyone must watch this and never forget that human beings of so-called western society did this horrible thing, those who pride themselves on being so called cultural and humane and then looked down on people from other cultures and races This is the sheer definition of barbarism please, lets be kinder to each other, no matter who, and where we are from.

Josef Mengele was brought to America and perfected his mind control experiments for the CIA known as MK ULTRA. He went by the name of Dr. Green. The MK ULTRA program was never shut down, that was a lie they fed to the public to appease them. It's still being used on a massive scale in the entertainment industry which is ALL CIA controlled. It's being used in professional sports, MSM personalities as well. I remember visiting one of the smaller camps. I was wearing black boots at the time and I couldn't help but think what the different kinds of prisoners would think of the sound of them thumping on the old wood. what it would mean to them. sometimes if they would know they were prisoners. it causes a very hollow, deep and heavy thud that bounces off the walls of the surprisingly small rooms reserved for the special guests and SS officers. listening to this I can vividly imagine what it would sound like if the good doctor came for a visit.

This level of an entire nation acting as a well-oiled machine; so well coordinated, such cooperation, such documentation, extensive note-taking, high level of precision; Imagine what this could have been had all this talent, if I dare use this adjective toward good and positivity? What a waste of talent; it is astonishing to me how everyone did their part without hesitation. Probably like North Korea, and parts of China, are now.

A rat is on a platform surrounded by water. Whenever it falls asleep it falls into the water and wakes up. The aim of the experiment is to deprive the animal of REM sleep. Similar studies by other scientists are conducted, and it's very popular. I wonder what the person who designed this would do if they had human subjects they could do whatever they wanted without punishment.

There is a famous NYT news article in which a woman claims that Mengele removed and then switched her hands and therefore she was living proof of the inhumane experiments Jews were subjected to. The Times failed to document any proof such as filming this incredible incident. I wonder why? Perhaps a bright reader of this thread can speculate why.

As difficult as this is to watch. This documentary is thought provoking, the pauses in between sentences lets you formulate your own thoughts. I wonder if any of these lab's involved still exist. If you think about this was not that long ago. Its just beyond my imagination how barbaric Humanity can be.
