Slogans like Democracy and freedom along with religion, are forms of manipulation but its benevolent manipulation meant to preserve a free, orderly, ethical and moral society. Otherwise it will devolve into narcissism, nihilism and authoritarianism.
When the lines blurred between falsehoods and truth people tend to rely on authoritative figures to tell them what to believe and what to do. Today there is such a great amount of propaganda because its not just to manufacture consent, its also to subvert our perception of reality and demoralize us into surrendering.

The anti-North Korean propaganda, the anti-Cuba propaganda, the anti-Venezuela propaganda, the anti-communist propaganda comes from the Western media controlled by the film industry which is Hollywood which is the propaganda machine of US imperialism. Also in countries with capitalist states they have media that deceive, lie and misinform people every day of the year and spend their whole life deceived by the bourgeois press of their country.

Ive seen this before but quite a few years ago.
There is a LOT of truth in this but there is also many lies.
The one i had to comment on is the native Americans being killed.

There was a genocide but there are still many left.

They do have some good points here, sometimes you wonder if our governments and media are really telling the truth about North Korea, when I went to some Eastern and Central European countries in the 1980s I found them to be totally different to the way they were portrayed by our government and media. I suppose you need to keep an open mind and balance it all out?

I keep waiting for the propaganda. They're not wrong. End sanctions on North Korea. Let them eat. I wonder if they are $30, 000, 000, 000, 000 in debt? I don't want to hear how evil their Dear Leader is while we do some of the same thing. At least he's not poisoning the human race for fun and profit.

This comment section seems to be unbalanced. clearly the western world had its own huge issues but still here we can make choices at least for now. It's not close to the control north Korea had on it's people. I don't eat bad, im not bothered by fashion and i don't watch much tv.

Many sad truths about our world, lots of conspiracy theories, and a whole host of propaganda pieces. People are aware and saddened by these things but there is nothing new here. I hope the world gets better soon without more violence.
