Was Andrew Jackson America's Craziest President?

Andrew Jackson has a complicated legacy. On the one hand, he was a populist hero and a venerated war general. On the other hand, he enslaved persons, killed thousands of Native Americans, created an economic depression, and killed a man. Old Hickory lived a mad life eventually leading to a presidency where he gave some very questionable orders, said some very unusual things, and took other actions many deem as messed up. Maybe that's why he's referred to by some as America's worst 'great' president

One of the greatest Presidents ever. One of the main problems today, is the concentration of money and resources, in the hands of fewer and fewer interests. So much, that it is now a threat to freedom, and in fact the very nation itself.
In Jacksons day this opposition to a democratic society was the banking interests. Namely a central bank, had its tentacles in every facet of influence, just as it is today. These interests are very much at play today.
These interests are very calculating. They do not want anyone looking too closely at the players in past who might have pointed a finger at these concentrations of power and influence.
For Jacksons efforts, there were several attempts on his life.
Jackson was a true American Patriot and hero, who fought to preserve our God-given freedoms.

He was responsible for the trail of tears, something that devastated my people. I do not say this lightly, or comically. I truly hope, and pray, to whatever force that is running this universe, that he is burning in Hell. From the bottom of my heart, I hope and pray for this. If I could have one wish granted, it would be that. While it is true, many presidents owned slaves and we're horrible men behind the curtain, Andrew Jackson committed genocide. My high school history teacher told me that Andrew Jackson was his favorite president. I never spoke another word to that teacher again for the rest of the year. I absolutely refused to verbally acknowledge him or comply with him. To this day, I don't think he ever knew why. I hope he was just under educated.

There wasnt much good about him in this video, dude was definitly a bad and crazy man but he did do something we are currently struggling to do now in year 2022 he stopped the mysterious 3rd party who control the currency with fiat money and made the dollar backed by gold thus making the country non dependent to any major banks. I really would like to see a full non biased movie about this guy.

We live in an evil world when we have particular citizens finding great fault with the founders of the nation such as Andrew Jackson.
The Leftist establishment constantly takes a shit on everyone and everything, while simultaneously offering us - and providing - the worst of everything.
I am of course speaking of the Democrat party, the same party which defended American slavery.

He was amazingly good at being an asshole that was popular with the whites of his day! Pulaski TN. Isn't far from his home. Got away with horrid acts on black and Indian people, stole anything not nailed down gave permission to others to steal lie etc. he and most of the founding fathers owned people how do we deal with that it's just how it was is a terrible excuse.
reply

You idiots. The banks were owned by elites that were trying to take over the monetary system. Actually, after what he did America prospered immensely. You guys are far left revisionists. And I bet you're probably Biden supporters.

The commentator is so bias, clearly he has an anti American historical view. He talks like hes so much braver than Pres Jackson. He a beta! No where near the man Pres Jackson was, a man that helped make America great!

Sounds a lot like trump. Who cares what anyone else thinks Im doing my own thing. I think thats why people like and hate trump so much. Hard not to respect a man whos been in over 1, 000 duels and never died.

3: 46. Did you research that claim at all? John Adams and John Quincy Adams did not own slaves and John Adams was distinctly anti-slave, having sometimes represented black slaves in lawsuits when he was a lawyer.

Few things upset more than realizing we honor such a man til this very day. Museums and money still carry his Visage. No matter any good he may have accomplished the bad far outweighs it. I'm ashamed of him.

As a Tea Party Republican, I love to point out that Jackson was the nation's first Democrat elected to be president.
The Democratic party was a slavery and Jim Crow party until the the 1960s.

An assassin had tried the shoot Andrew Jackson and the assassins gun didnt shoot so he shot him again yet the gun didnt shoot so Andrew Jackson beat the man with his cane lol
reply

When did he create an economic depression? didn't he eradicate nation debt in 1835? Considering our nation started in an immense amount of debt, that's decently impressive.
reply

You said that all previous presidents owned slaves. John Adams (2) and John Quincy Adams (6) did not own slaves. Thats either pretty deceptive or pretty lazy of you.
reply

Yeah, but did he ever do an insurrection? 2nd craziest, maybe. I'm looking forward to your upcoming episode on the historic trial and imprisonment of the 45th POTUS.
reply

P. S and why is jackson on the 20 doller bill?

reply

It's funny how American politics were left so open and free reign. One real good hacker could install whichever party they choose these days
reply
