She may be the most famous person to ever get burned at the stake, but do you really know everything there is to know about Joan of Arc? Joan of Arc, or La Pucelle as shed prefer to be called, was one of the most iconic and brilliant female soldiers of all time and theres a whole lot more to the rags-to-riches-to-rags story than youd probably ever realize.

I think it is not a good idea to judge people from the early 15th century (Joan of Arc for instance) particularly their psychological state by the standards that we have in the 21st century. By the way there was no British in 1431, there was England and Scotland which were separate independent nations. Great Britain did not come into fact until the Stuart Kings united the Crowns of England and Scotland in the early 17th century.

Let me guess, this video is going to be some pure bs. This slanderous title already gives me liberal buzzfeed vibes. something THEY tend to do against prominent spiritual figures. Ofc I was right, not even 4 minutes in and this plays like some buzzfeed gossip article. Nobody is without flaws but that's all you people feed on. You're better off listening to someone else if you want to learn about her

Joan's comments about the various religions were pretty much normal for her time period, i mean its no surprise the crown of France would go after the cathars and put them to death as well as expelling or putting to death Jews. So anyway, why her comments were judgmental is hardly surprising when zealotry and bigotry was no surprise for the medieval time period.

The woman I would think could be really interesting is Kathryn Ryan aka Klondike Kate. She is from Johnsvill NB Canada. She was best known for being tge first woman to work with the RCMP and had her name stolen by a show girl who made her later life really difficult. please help clarify her name!

This is definitely the way God works! Wake up it's not a mental health issue. When someone listens to the Holy Spirt and follows the voice of God. Easy for us to sit on this site and make our own assumptions but what have you done meaningful lately. Anything that would stand the test of time?

I can see the effort put into the video but seriously. The angle you went at making it was vastly different than what is required for an historical video. This is something I would expect from a story about brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie breaking up or who is Elon musk is currently dating.

About half of this is purely speculative and hearsay. Saying she's far from is inaccurate and sensationalist based on what's presented here. In other words, the facts are insufficient to justify the title. But from a strict theological perspective, no one is holy except for God.
reply

Total speculation NOT in Basis of Fact(s. Must be a bunch of DEMS that made and narrated this video: picking out select elements then deciding how to raise DOUBT, that ugly seed of dissent and ruination. More IF I ever decide to revisit.

Lmao at all the butthurt in these comments. News flash - literally every single person to ever claim to hear angels and archangels was either a liar or mentally ill. Joan of Arc did many great things, but none of them change that fact.
reply

. to explain the voices she was hearing. The day you die and you face god you will won't be able to believe that happened either. Aliens created us and evolution took over from there. DNA is manipulated
reply

The thing about her mental diseases was quite unnecessary. You cannot diagnose someone who's been dead for ages. Besides, most of this was just theoratical. more historical facts next time: )
reply

Joan of Arc is definitely the type of person people are going to be doubting ever existed once first hand sources about her get destroyed in the decay of time.
reply

Joan of Arc was a hero and a courageous woman, who was betrayed badly I will forever view her as a positive person no matter what some people say! There is said it!
reply

Joan of Arc she is a saint. She was true to her faith. You have portrayed her insultingly and you seem very naive. She was not mentally ill either.
reply

I don't believe Joan was talking to God. That's not possible. I do believe she was crazy. But she wasn't a supernatural being with special powers.
reply

Gilles De Rais wasn't always evil; he became that way because he went mad after Joan was executed. At least that's the story I remember hearing.
reply

Gilles and Joan. It's actually good to have both a saint and a sinner on the battlefield and for strategic planning. Balance in everything
reply

Gilles de Rais sounds like a Player Character who is choosing evil choices but has to help Joan of Arc because the Main Story requires it.
reply

This is gross. I don't need gossipy tones and teen judgement with my history lesson. This is demeaning to Joan and all women.
