Rating: 4.0; Vote: 1
Theodore Roosevelt, the 26th president of the United States, was more than the man behind the Panama Canal and the inspiration for the teddy bear. He was a cowboy. A soldier. An explorer. A badass. When Teddy Roosevelt, or T. R. as he was commonly known, was a child, he had health issues. He overcame these by living what he called a strenuous life. That's putting it lightly

Teddy Roosevelt is a rare exception. He was loved by democrats and republicans. He was just such a cool guy and tough as nails. He was most definitely a mans man through and through. There will never be another like him. I really wish people would leave historical figures in the times in which they lived and stop judging them by todays standards. In 100 years what will future generations think of us? How will we be judged and remembered? Will it be fair? Hiding history away does not change what really happened and it needs to stop

Most historians put him as 3rd or 4th greatest American president, if you look at how much he actually accomplished, the amount of work running the country, preserving nature, trying to help out the African Americans in the south, and so much more, the amount of energy he had. I've read a few of his biographies, him and Lincoln are close to tied for the 1st spot imo.

Today's woke democrat's hate TR. Just recently, they removed the statue of him rescuing the Cuban Slaves, during his time in the Rough Rider's at San Juan Hill. Woker's see the statue as native American's and American Slaves. Which that's not what the statue was depicting. The statue has been placed in the Bring Teddy Home Library in Menora ND.

He was one of the big three of American history, the other two being Lincoln and FDR He missed his true destiry which should have been the US presidency in World War One. He did a lot in conservation in which he was ahead of his time, Above all, he had a sense of life which exited everyone who had contact with him.

Like Teddy Roosevelt, but what is missing from this piece was the impact of the 9th and 10th infantry and 24th Calvary of the Buffalo Soldiers, black soliders who actually made the biggest impact on taking Kettle Hill and San Juan Hill in Cuba. Teddy was blowhard that got the glory and credit where it wasn't due.

The major CEO's of the day, went after Teddy with a vengeance. Teddy was for the little guy during a time when big business was cutting jobs over profit. They'd come together to fight & bribe as many elected leader's as they could, so as to fight his Anti-Trust Bills, and stop their merger's.

how roosevelts keep turning sheep into willing disposable sheeps
Scumbag talking about twisted pride when he deliberately suppressed the heroics of Buffalo Soldiers, all so he could prop himself up as the savior of the day. What a piece of racist shit. Definition of a toxic leader

Not sure of the veracity of the story, but I remember hearing that once while in the wilderness of the west, his and his groups boats and gear were stolen. And Teddy built a raft, pursued, caught and then brought the thieves to a Marshall.

The football fact is hilarious, have the septic tanks never watch the game of Rugby? A sport that's history far out stretches that of Yanky football where the players are basically a soft pad with the amount of gear they have on

I like much about TR but the fact is he split the GOP vote in 1912 and thus insured that Wilson a progressive, like an early clintion or Biden, would be elected.

They took down his statue. So Rome falls again, good riddance. We all knew it was going to happen. But no fanfare here at this parade, or as much as a guffaw.
