From the hulls of ships to the sides of trucks to the walls of bathroom stalls across the world - and even engraved into national monuments - one iconic phrase has appeared in seemingly every place across the globe: Kilroy was here. Along with a cartoon of a bald man with a big nose peering over a wall, the famous declaration took root during WWII and remained popular among soldiers through the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and up to today

My dad passed away back in 2014 and he taught me about 'Kilroy was here' a long time ago. Whenever he was in the hospital, I would draw a Kilroy on the dry erase board for him.
Recently, I flew on a plane for the first time to meet my girlfriend. For the first time. I was a little nervous so I walked over to the smoker's booth out front before going in to have a cigarette. On the glass someone had drew a Kilroy was here in the dust. I know it's just a coincidence but I can't help but feel like it was a message from my old man letting me know.
It's amazing what power we let symbols have over us.

Captains log, October 30th, 2022. I have watched every video starting from the beginning, I have finally made it to the kilroy video. I can see a light at the end of the tunnel, fun facts about teddy coming up next. And only about 50 or so weird history videos to go. idk, I didnt count. The road has been long, and yet I am anxious that I will be watching on everyone else's weekly schedule. Nothing left to binge, true horror, Due to join the masses, ah cest la vie.

Kilroy is 180-190cm tall, bald, caucasian and slimly built. He speaks very dryly and matter-of-factly and generally isn't particularly social. He dresses to occasion and if someone manages to look at his eyes they notice they are very brightly blue. He doesn't tell he was there. He is generally unremarkable person despite having some notable physical identifiers.

Fun fact: Kilroy is referenced in Wizard 101!
Once you enter Nightside (where the Death school has fallen) there is some graves. While there, I decided to look at the graves and one of the graves said Kilroy is here on it with what looks like a pointy-nosed fellow peeking over a wall. Look it up or check it out for yourselves!
