Throughout both its Republican and Imperial periods, Rome was one of the most dominant cultures in the history of the world. That dominance was mainly based on the military strength of Roman Legions -- but if the Legionnaires powered Rome, what powered the Legionnaires?

WHEAT, untreated and not ' processed ' in modern factories; BUT fresh as harvested, is THE MOST PERFECT FUEL, / FOOD for human beings. WE have been ' designed ' by our CREATOR GOD; THE MASTER ENGINEER OF ALL MATTER, FORCE ENERGY; TIME SPACE and DISTANCE. WE have corrupted, all good food, FROM THE GROUND. NOW we have colon cancer, IBS, ( irritable bowel syndrome) diabetes, and a whole host of other ' modern ' health problems/diseases. IF WE FUELLED ourselves, as these HEALTHY Romans did, WE could also accomplish alot more physically, other than texting/getting obese and lazy. YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT AND DRINK. Eat salt (dozens of forms, fat and sugar, and see what you will become. Watch the waddling people, in your towns/cities. And, at the hospitals, etc. STAY AWAY FROM ANYTHING, COMING OUT OF A FACTORY.

The Romans ate a substance called food it consists of cereals & grains, Meats, Dairy, cheese, fruits and vegetables. They all are made for human consumption, I've tried some and it's very delicious you can't go days without food.

It sound like some of the common beverages might have been a type of fermented slightly fizzy drink which is full of probiotics. With such large salt rations, I'm betting they would have eaten pickled vegetables too.

Really? You can't just tell the obviously interesting story of how Roman soldiers ate, you had to mess it up with really, really poor jokes and unnecessary memes? What a pity.

I know Mongolian cavalry soldiers eat a lot of meat, and they march with large amount of livestock at the same time. So that they can get meat and milk, even blood any time.

The narrator really does have a great voice. Sounds very smooth and professional, like you'd expect out of a documentary with a budget.
