My son was in his early teens during the first run of the Beavis and Butthead series. We watched that hilarious show on a regular basis and laughed together, creating fond mother/son memories. The best part for me was that by laughing at B&B’s antics, I could let off the steam created by the not so funny (at the time) antics of my son and his best friend. In a sense, Beavis and Butthead saved my son from being bounced out of the house. If I could laugh at them, I could feel more appreciation for the good qualities of my son, rather than focusing on his occasional bad choices. And I still love Beavis and Butthead!

I wonder why their heads were much smaller than the other characters
The first revival, I didn't care that much because the roasting of reality shows were not just as funny when they roasted music videos. I haven't seen the second revival yet.
What I would love to see is that if B&B does a crossover with King of the Hill and Mike Judge's short-lived series The Goode Family, Suppose if Hank Hill is really related to Tom Anderson and David Van Drieden is related to Gerald Goode

When I came back to school after summer break, the first class on the first day, as the teacher was reading the names, upon hearing my name Saun Carol blurts out, Hu, hu, hu Beavis. and my nickname was signed, sealed and delivered from then on. I still run into people I used to know and that's the name they call me. .

That's good really didn't go through that show much in it's early years if at all but did get it on the remake and later some of it and also went through the first movie Beavis and Butt-Head Do America also can be a cool idea since I saw Robot Chicken and that could be an series of that universe where one of them works for the White House or gets a Senator or could go great for politicians.

One of my favorite cartoons of all time, one of my favorite series of all time for that matter. I watched the Do the Universe movie and honestly seeing Beavis fall in love with the villain and struggle to say I love you to her honestly makes me cry whenever I watch it lol. Who guessed a cartoon of 2 teenagers that share braincells would make me so emotional

I remember reading in a newspaper about a woman who left her baby in the car to watch Beavis and Butthead do America. I don’t remember if the child died or was brain damaged from the heat. I don’t know how to find the article now, but I clearly remember it because it upset me a lot and I wasn’t familiar with hot car deaths back then.

They introduced me to a lot of cool bands! One of which was Morbid Angel. Although they made fun of the song God of Emptiness, it got me hooked to the bands full repertoire up till then! And, if memory serves me correct, even Immortal with their video for Blashyrk, but that could've easily have happened in a different reality.

I took my nine year old son to see Beavis And Butthead Do America. Most of the audience consisted of college guys. I was the oldest person and only mom in the audience.
Flash forward a few years. My second husband walked in from work as my son was video taping an episode of Beavis And Butthead. He was not happy.

I didn't watch MTV growing up, so I didn't actually watch Beavis and Butt-head until I rented the movie off iTunes in 2009 (I was 23. I loved it, and have watched a good chunk of the series. I also burned through Daria a few months ago, and finished up my first run of King of the Hill before that.

I grew up watching Tom And Jerry torturing each other. I watched Daffy Duck's bills getting shot gun blasted off time and time again.
Cartoon violence was around decades before the antics of Beavis And Butthead.
It was very responsible of MTV to include the preshow disclaimer.

I watched a lot of Beavis and Butt-Head as a kid, The matter fact I watched a lot of crazy cartoons and other stuff as a kid. Never once have I ever thought of copying anything from them, those who do attempt to copy they definitely require help for mental illness to begin with.

I’ve been rewatching Beavis and Butthead episodes on Pluto (with the music videos) and decades later the humor holds up and and I still laugh out loud like I did when I was 14. IMO Mike Judge can do no wrong! Check out Tales from the Tour Bus, it’s excellent

I was the same age as Beavis and Butthead when the first season started in '93 (14yrs old. I loved that show so much! I even had the movies soundtrack which was great BTW filled with great songs! Including megadeath doing a great cover of Angry Again

Beavis and Butt-Head do the Universe was surprisingly intelligent. I know how that can be a low bar but Mike Judge did make the sadly more documentary than satire Idiocracy. Also, when they found out they had white privilege was priceless.

I remember being on a trip with my mom and my moms religious friend. We found Liquid Television and a short came on with Beavis and Butthead at a monster truck rally. The short was great, but watching my moms friend freak out was even better.

Early 2000s I participated in a white elephant gift exchange where I received a copy of Do America on DVD, I couldn't convince the person who gave it to me that it was the greatest gift of the whole exchange. I have always loved Mike Judge's work.

Best part was the music videos and how they had such an influence on pop culture their commentary could either make(White Zombie) or break(Winger) a career

This and grunge made the 90s the best time to be a teenager.
The kid who set fire to his trailer had never seen the show. They didnt even have cable. The connection was false. But the (im)moral majority had music and TV by the balls.

I’m a millennial, I feel like B&B was a Gen X thing, it very much captured the youth appeal at the time. I love King of the Hill, Office Space, Idiocracy. But B&B is the only Mike Judge creation I could never get into for some reason
