I believe material that make new industrial revolution would be a room-temperature superconductor. It would allow to transport energy without loses and allow to decrease out electronic devices by factor of 100.
But other material should be possible: alloy that allow -magnetic cascade resonsnce- - it would alow to create very strong magnetic field. That force is enough to start fusion.
