What specie of tree? From a tree to another one it doesn't absorb CO2 at the same rate. Plant a small tree absorb almost nothing. And even if you count like 20kg of CO2 per year and per tree, planting a trillion tree is still just a drop in a water bottle, compared to CO2 emissions. Trees won't save us.

Indian trees named peepal and barghat(banyan) are trees which produces oxygen even at night. So we should plant those trees as much we can. Because planting 5 normal tree = 1 peepal tree in term of oxygen production

I think wood industry should plant a tree if they cut one down. I saw a video of a coal mine company that fills in any holes they dug with top soil allowing it to regrow. This is a good thing. Allow nature to heal itself.
