How I feel with the solar system everyday. The only things existing is Earth, Moon, and Sun which we frequently see, since we live everyday on Earth and we don-t realize it being a place with life. And then the stars in our sky are illusions even though they have different patterns because we know about the seasons and temperatures here each day or season.

Yes you right because -The oceans wouldn't rise or fall, they would just stay where they were, covering the entire planet (with water. So really, Earth as we know it wouldn't exist if there were no other planets. There's virtually no chance that humanity would be living today. -

It's crazy how no one ever thought of creating some kind of simulator where you can mess with the environment of a planet. Moons, rings, atmospheric composition, the whole system it is at. It kinda disappoints me, because it would help A LOT in understanding the process of evolution.

I also heard that Mercury and Venus also play a critical role to protect Earth, as they take in the solar radiation and winds from the sun, so it won't reach our planet; not too sure if it is correct or what but it something that I heard a long time ago.
