UY Scuti isn't 5. 2 lights years from us. It's 9, 500 light years away. If a star that big was as close as Alpha Centauri is, which is about 4. 5 light years away, it'd be by a very large margin the brightest star in the night sky, it'd be close to as bright as the full moon and would be able to cast a shadow, it'd also mean the end of Earth because a star that big ends in a super nova and at just 5 light years we would end up in the nebula it'd form not to mention the massive amounts of extra radiation it'd spew, it'd take out the Ozone layer and everyone would end up with skin cancer on top of plants dying

UY Scuti is over 9, 000 light years from us. If it was at the 5 LY quoted in this video life here would probably never got started. Interesting but need to get facts right.
