What If You Spent 24 Hours Lost at Sea?

This man is about to dive 20 m (65 ft) off the top of a cruise ship. What will happen to his body when he hits the water? Well, luckily for him, and others, the impact of hitting the water wouldn't be the worst part of going overboard. The worst part would be what could come next: being lost at sea. Even if you're wearing a life jacket, surviving all alone in a giant body of water until someone rescues you will not be easy. What would be the biggest threat to your survival? How could fish eyes save your life? And how long would you have before the water starts breaking down your skin?

I was on a cruise once and saw a guy running from security, fighting them off, looking drunk as hell the whole time.
It was around 2 am, and at that point my friends and I were like, yeah, that's it for tonight, we're going to bed.
On my way to the room I heard -Bravo Bravo, Portside. - Apparently the guy ended up jumping off the ship. The ship had to be turned around and we ended up missing one of our destinations. Eventually the search and rescue was turned over to the coast guard, but they never managed to find the guy.
Can't imagine what possessed the guy into thinking jumping was a good idea.

I'm here after falling off a tube in the Caribbean Sea and the boat not realzing I was behide. How fun it was to have salt water in my eyes and to wade in the open water. Scariest 30min waiting for the boat to get the others then come for me. Current kept pulling me further too.
Be safe wear a life jacket.

There was a story maybe 8 or 9 years ago. anyone remember that France flight that went down over the ocean? There was a young girl that is the only one who survived and she was on a piece of metal in the ocean for almost a full day until she was rescued. Her family perished too, smh. always shook me.

If you spent 24 hours before this: millions of years ago.
Megalodon: You dared to enter my water!
You: I am sorry, I will drown myself real quick or find an octopus.
Megalodon: Nah, I am hungry. You don't go.

Am I the only one here because you are going on a plane and is afraid of crashing into the sea and survive just to be alone in the middle of the ocean? I-m terrified.

I would hope there was an orange buoy or whatever those big metal looking orange things so you can lay on it like that girl did in criminals kinda

Thinking about the time I took a nap on a boogie board at the beach and was the farthest out in the ocean. Scary shit that I think about a lot

Lol the option of drinking the water inside the fish eyes is so hard, imagine your self catching the fish using only your hands

You've obviously never tried buying beer at a music gig or festival

Never mind dehydration, If I somehow not drowned I would die from fear tbh. For me water is the most scary thing.
