We quite literally just need a nano battery thats also a nuclear fusion reactor. That would be a -Kyber crystal- in a sense. In theory it should be able to produce plasma, the same way the sun would be doing so, but on a smaller, safer scale. hopefully. this is just my hypothesis for lightsabers in like a millennium or so.

So noy only would you not be able to be on the same planit as the light saber and not catch on fire, All you would have to do is just tap your opponent so like the fighting would be more like poking etchother and not look like a sword fight.

I just want the battery/energy technologies in a light saber, how ever it could exist. It is the energy it self and how much of it and so many uses for such energy output.
