What If Humans Walked on All Fours?

On your marks. Get set. Bear crawl. The movement of the future is here. And it looks a lot like the movement of the distant past. What benefits would you get from moving on all fours? How would our society adapt to accommodate this new movement And how could it change human evolution forever? Would devolution take place? How would our reflexes change? Will bipedal humans be a thing of the past?

This is really interesting! I-ve been looking for a video like this for like 2 years now, seeing as this video-s a year old I don-t know why I didn-t see it before lol
I actually do quadrobics which is walking, trotting, running and jumping on all fours! I thought I-d answer any questions anyone might have about it what it-s like for me personally (I can-t speak for every quadrobist)
- I almost never get pain from moving on all fours, occasionally my muscles get a little bit sore or I step on my hands but that-s about it
- I have my fingers curled up, not like a fist but so the last section or the tip of my fingers are on the ground and on the side my fingers make a square-like shape. This is just more comfortable for me but it also reduces risk of injuries (especially when jumping, helps balance your weight and relaxes your tendons. I-ve been doing quadrobics for over 2 years now and my hands and knuckles closest to the tips of my fingers kinda have a protective layer of skin, like what you get on your feet (if you don-t constantly wear shoes. About Every month the skin like changes itself so it would go soft again for a while but they grow the protective layer back. Because of this, stepping on things with my hands doesn-t hurt too much and I can even go on concrete without my knuckles hurting.
- Shoes And quadrupedal movement don-t really mix. It-s just a lot harder for me
- No, I do not walk on fours 24/7, usually for about 3-4 hours a day lol

Walking/running on all fours is possibly the best exercise there is for humans. Hanging from all fours might be better. The upright posture is also the cause of prostate problems in human males, since now the bladder rests right on top of the prostate, through which runs the urethra. Humans very likely became upright when the world was so warm (much hotter than global warming fanatics predict for 2050) that the only humans who survived lived by the shore and spent most of their days in the water, and possibly humans who lived in high elevations. Five minutes a day walking or running on all fours is probably enough.

Il say it fast it is impossible bc whe need hands so the only way this happends is it stays i the mid way whe run on four -legs- and whe walk on 2 but this wuold take millions of years + there should be a reason like pradators os the place where all humans live change so this is why it is impossible you wanna walk on four legs but it is useless or you wanna climb tree use hamds in generale? Evolution works so if it is useless the species wont need but if it co tributes to the species to survive or reproduce more then it was worth it congrats you have a new species not so different from the other

Running/walking/trotting is called -Quadrobics- also doing quads is a great source of exercise and balance, wear gloves to avoid the bugs and nasty things on the ground, also you can jump on all fours [LOOK UP A TUTORIAL] pretty much you pus off with your back legs and pull your arms into your chest mid jump and then land on your arms as if you-re doing a hand-stand and then set your legs down after your arms hit the ground, BEND YOUR ELBOWS als9.

I play chase on all four with my doggo, and I still remember it was amazing although the view was limited just low level and couldn't see far. Yet it was an amazing feeling and thought
_is this how they see the view? Let me get lower. And imagine as a snake_
It was a fun day for me and my doggo discovering how they see the world.

------the HIRSUTE woodwose heathen tribes DID originally -walk- on all fours. somehow, they've been taught to imitate -those of mankind. The STRANGE -peoples- of the land were all quadrupeds who fed on roots, tubers and raw -meats-.
Today their descendants pretend to be the original members of mankind. -!

4: 33 if you go slowly after a while you start to get used to it and you don-t get as much pain anymore. for me my wrists started getting used to jumping on them after only a bit over a month, but I still get a bit of shoulder aches from it lol
Living your whole life on all fours though -

Humans arms shrinked and Legs did grow, We cannot longer walk on fourth. you would need to have hand and legs at same size, Much like animals have, dogs and cats for example. that means you will run much slower than on two legs if your legs are longer than hands

I have always wondered why paleontologists who dig up hominid fossils immediately assume the extinct creature is some sort of ancient relative. rather than assume that what they have found isn't really just some sad mutant degenerate human?

As a therian and Quadrobic I practice quads everyday on my break. I have lost weight and felt much better since I started. I recommend doing quadrobics as a sport on your free time

As a child I had dreams of moving like this while someone was chasing me. Bipedally I couldn't get far but I would run on my hands like an animal and escape. (I felt free and powerful)

But chimpanzees run on all fours and still hold things. They function just fine. We would just be like them. Plus, there are in betweens. You can still run on all fours sometimes.

lies. Black man taught the white man how to Walk upright, how to be civilized and stop living like beast in the Caucasus mountain caves. Enough with the lies people. Let's Grow

Millions of years of evolution allowed us to stand on two feet and now some people want to go back to all fours.
Maybe humanity has run it's course.

i actually do quadrobics lol. i practice for about 5-10 minutes per day but occasionally skip some days to rest, actually really great exercise

Human never walked on four they created like what you seen now and there is no proof or evidence about evolution. Its just a false theory. Period

The real question is what if we never became bipedal at all? Less than even an ape or monkey, about as much bibedalisum as a dog or cat
reply

If we started walking on all four limbs. We could perform some incredible fighting combos. Something like Black Panther.
