This is exactly what I asked my old physics, biology teachers. If we went with the -human derived from monkeys- theory. Then where did monkeys come from? After bout a 20 min Q'n' A session we arrived at organisms and the theory it traveled from outer space and hit earth. So I asked if that means we are all aliens. Since we were not indigenous.
Anyways is it possible that before the earth was a fireball floating in space, could it have been a thriving advance planet? For example, trillions upon trillions of years ago. Earth ( as we know it now) was a planet inhabited by beings. Then a massive asteroid (or other planet killer thing) made it into a great fireball. Luckily the inhabitants were able to flee before it happened. After millions of years earth started to become liviable again. Then the previous inhabitants placed organisms I. e. dinosaurs, insects, etc. To start life again. And like others stated. We are an experiment. There's no proof of what could have lived before the earth was a fireball cause eveything would have been burned. Right?

This reminds me a lot of Aquinas' theory of causation. Which is something that went alone the lines of, in short, -If Life was created by god, who created god? - Which can then lead to -god was created by another god- but then it the cycle continues. Who created the god before that? And even before that? it had to start from somewhere, right?
What I'm trying to say is that if Aliens created us, who created the aliens?

what if we were just evolved from the chaos of colliding matter going through space. We know comets have ice, we know theia collided with earth creating massive amounts of carbon. If we know life creating materials can be found on entities traveling through space and our solar system is the effect of lots of things colliding, why is it such a mystery?

What if WE are the aliens? Like, humans were from another planet that was becoming so desert and unhabitable(that would be Mars) and they sent a couple of humans named Adam and Eve to Earth, which was the next habitable planet nearby, to rebuild their civilization?

Imagine if Aliens created humans just like humans are creating Robots and AI but Humans were not as effective as they thought or maybe were too smart for them or maybe too emotionally driven, so aliens abandoned early humans in Space and maybe we landed here.
