What If We Could Reheat the Earth's Core?

Forget a doomsday asteroid or melting permafrost. It-s the freezing of Earth-s core that will end the world in today-s episode. Or would it? Because maybe, just maybe, we could save the world by heating Earth from the inside. What is happening down in the Earth-s core? What would happen if the core froze completely? And would we have a chance of fixing the Earth before it-s too late? What will happen to Earth's magnetic field? What is a superhot core?

This just give me an idea maybe all of us human were aliens century ago but because maybe the core of Mars also went froze so that the living objects in Mars like us were slowly dying and the water on Mars also disappear so that our ancestors make a ship to send Adam and Eve in earth but because of atmosphere of earth we evolve to humans years by year and maybe in future where Earth's core also gonna freeze maybe were gonna find a way to reheat the core not Earth's core but Mars core so that we can live again on there maybe that's why Elon musk is trying to live to mars

To save the Earth's core, drilling into the mantle through the ocean would doom virtually all oceanic life. As the process would drastically change the ocean temperature, we'd probably only doom all of life to a faster end by drilling into the mantle. Terraforming other planets is currently probably our best bet to ensure humanity's continued survival.

I don-t think we-re advanced enough yet to reheat the
Earth so if the core cools down, we-re most likely dead unless if some miracle scientific breakthrough happens as I would assume that this project will have no budget and I-m sure all the smartest people in the world will be working on this project but I still find this extremely unlikely

ultraviolet light isn't charged so the magnetic field doesn't deflect it at all. The magnetic field protects against ionized particles, not light. The magnetic field does not hold the atmosphere in place. There is absolutely no way you could -reheat- an entire planet. This video is just full of inaccuracies.

the best way to reheat the inner earth is to somehow pull the moon back to it's original position. it's gravitational pull should keep the liquid iron flowing, plus the moon it pulling away and we need it to keep are season because without the moon more then 1/2 the population would stare from the lose of farmlands.

An artificial Satellite, built with an equivalent Magnetic field ( that was proposed for Mars ) would be a fantastic work-around than this project. The draw-back would be the required re-servicing work for the Satellite (- 7 - 10 years, and the Uranium / solar power needed. But it would work.

If magnetic monopoles exist, you could reheat the core by dumping tons of both north and south monopoles onto the earth. They'd settle into the core and annihilate each other releasing vast amounts of heat (gamma rays scattered into heat. But there's no evidence they exist

So technically if a meteor hits us, the core will be hot again? Cuz if the core is cold, atmosphere gone, meteor brr earth, bum supa hot core. We just need to stay underground and survive until the core heats again lol.

Tons of errors in this video, the magnetic field does not block UV anyway. (2: 25) UV is blocked by oxygen (UVC) and Ozone (UV A and B)

It would take millions upon millions of years to strip our atmosphere. That-s plenty of time to figure out a solution or relocate.

A ten layer suit to protect against all elements/gases/and gravities would b preferred for all researchs with risks for advancement

And if we could reheat the Earths core we could do the the same with Mars core I guess. I mean Mars should have a core too.

I got a good what if. What if animals (not all do this of course) didn't kill their young? How would that effect the Earth?
reply

Nothing is going to happen to the Earth or sun okay the sun's core is not going to blow up or shrink and the Earth is fine -

Loved seeing so many scenes from The Core. Most people think that movie sucked, but I thought it was pretty cool.

So basically what you-re saying in the beginning if earths core of froze then the sun would become a deadly laser

What if we build a superconducting structure around the planet to simulate the magnetic field. The same to mars

He-s actually wrong about how he said the earth was created, he-s another scientist who doesn-t believe God

Man I don-t think it-s true he made a video about aliens and they aren-t even real. pls tell the truth
