What If the Megalodon Shark Fought the Leviathan Whale?

What If the Megalodon Shark Fought the Leviathan Whale? I choose Megalodon. There are several factors at play here. Lets start with the fact that Leviathan was not actually fast, but was also slow like Megalodon. Megalodon was by no means someone who relied on pure power. Due to his low movement speed, he relied on intelligence. first of all, he attacked from an ambush and either rammed the victim to confuse him, or bit off the fins and tail to make it impossible for the victim to swim away from him. About the stronger bite of Leviathan, also a lie. Its teeth are longer, but they were not adapted to bite. add the fact that Leviathans were pack animals, so Megalodon will attack a stray pack member. One on one Leviathan does not know how to fight and the shark will be the first to ambush and use the same tactics as with his usual prey, which were also whales, but smaller. there was even such a documentary about these two predators of those times. They lived at the same time, in the same places, and ate the same prey. One-on-one Megalodon will not leave a lone whale a chance. But he will call for help from others. when they arrive, the Megalodon needs to go into the depths as early as possible, otherwise, he risks getting rams and bites one after another. In that movie, the sun ended so that the relatives could not lift the wounded Leviathan to the surface to take a breath of air and left. when they left, Megalodon returned and finished off the victim\r\n

The megalodon shark and the leviathan whale are both extinct species that lived during different time periods, with megalodon shark lived around 23 to 2. 6 million years ago and leviathan whale (Leviathan melvillei) that lived around 4 million years ago, so they never existed at the same time to engage in a fight. Additionally, it's unlikely that a shark and a whale would ever naturally come into contact and engage in a fight in the wild, as they occupy different parts of the ocean and have different hunting behaviors and prey. Therefore, it is impossible to predict how such a hypothetical fight would play out.

Lyviatan (not leviathan) has lesser weak points, more intelligence, agility because since meg weighed more it was less agile, and since it was more like a orca it could figure out weak points of the meg and that could spell death! And has more strategy for battle.
The megalodon has a stronger bite, and was heavier, could sense better, and was faster because of its aerodynamic body, and more stealth because it detected it-s competition faster
Results: i think overall lyviatan would win and I believe people portray meg as a winner because of it-s popularity

This fight will probably be a quick one. The first bite will most likely win. I'm gonna give the edge to the Meg however, as it's an ambush predator that hunts whales. It knows how to avoid echolocation or it would never get a meal being as slow as it is. The shark also has electroreception making it nearly impossible to sneak up on, the same cannot be said of the Livyatan. I'm gonna give this to the Meg with a devastating sneak attack to the Livyatan's underbelly.

Meg didn't weigh 60 tons. That's a lie. Fish bones are lighter than a whale bone. Besides, you know how killer whales kill Great whites by outmanoeuvring them and ramming then in the under belly. It just depends on who attacked first while the other wasn't aware. Echolocation gave Leviathan a very big advantage since it could spot meg from kilometres away.

If we go with how sperm whales hunted, it would of also likely hunted in small groups. Another advantage it was likely a deep sea diver, and with its sonar ping it would find the meg first. Plus the vibrations from its head could very much stun the creature way before meeting contact due to how sound moves in water

The Whale in this video, is called Livyatan, not Leviathan. As far as who wins? Livyatan would win most times. Also, Sperm Whales don't suck in Prey. They have teeth. Megalodon would've won against the Livyatan sometimes, but intelligence is better than physical power.

Whales are more mobile than sharks generally, eg. They change direction suddenly, like sudden deep dives or back flips. Whales are mucho smarter, and I think the whale would figure out how to kill Megalodons the way Orcas kill Great Whites
reply

I think leviatyan hunted in packs just like most whales and Meg didn-t have a chance. One on one I give it 60% to the whale because of brains and I think the whale would know where the shark was first because of sonar.

-Doesn-t compare in size to the Leviathan. -
I would have appreciated it if you had done accurate research. You would have learned that the Leviathan is in fact smaller than the Sperm Whale.
FACTS!

Megalodon, the sole reason that it's takes one bite for the megalodon to finish the fight, on the other hand it takes Livy and hand full of bites as it physically wouldn't be able to take a proper bite
reply

Megaladon and laviatin basic occupied the same niches as modern great whites amd orcas but on a larger scale
Going off of how the modern counterparts go up against each other laviatin wins easily

reply

The meg could not turn fast it was a tank the whale in the other hand was more agile and could have ramed it with it's nose disoriented the shark and it had bigger teeth a foot long like bowling pins
reply

These 2 are so closely matched the knly thing this video got wrong was bite force the meg had a bite force of 40000 psi while the leviathan had a 30000 psi bite force but had larger teeth
reply

The leviathan whale weigh in at 62 tons the Meg was only about 57 so the whale weighed more it was bigger in size than a Meg yes a meg was longer but it wasn-t as big as the leviathan fact

These guys do know sharks don-t have bony skeletons their skeletons are composed of cartilage with the exception of their jaws and teeth right? Because I learned that when I was five.
reply

I'd say the Leviathan Whale would win. It has more attacking strategies like its head, the sonic boom and its teeth, while the megalodon only relies on its teeth.
reply

We need a video of them battling during a thunderstorm whilst Mastodon plays the entirety of the Leviathan album on a mountain in the background.

I'm sorry did you just say the Sperm Whale -relies on suction-? If you won't research the basics you just undermine everything else.

70-80% of the world's Oceans remain unexplored. We know more about Space than the Oceans. We have no idea who or what is down there.
reply

It would all boil down to who was able to get the 1st bite in. And I believe Sometimes the Meg won and Sometimes Leviathan Won

What caught me off guard is the idea of baby megs eating eachother BEFORE birth. Inside the womb. Holy cow. That's wild!
reply

yea I'm giving the meg this if it ambushed the whale they went for the tail if not the whale outsmarts it
reply

Megalodon vs lyvatan probably a rare occurrence. They are wise enough to stay out from each other
. Probably.

reply

Mega would win all the shark had do is see the whale first from being under it and the shark is a smart fish
reply

Megalodon is nothing compared to the livayathan and why is the sperm whale called sperm whale that-s sus!
reply

Mako shark not blue shark
Edit: Btw. Meg had the strongest btie of all time. So i think Meg would win
