Absolute zero is the lowest limit of the thermodynamic temperature scale, a state at which the enthalpy and entropy of a cooled ideal gas reach their minimum value, taken as zero kelvin. Absolute zero is sort of like light speed+1. You are not going to get there by any normal means. And that's a the real question isn't it. Isa the temperature of the planet being arbitrarily set at 0Kevin for 5 seconds or do we have to move through the temperatures NEAR 0K to get there? That makes a huge difference. Traveling though those temperatures, even very quickly, would be utterly fatal. That said, if Q (Star Trek not nut balls) snapped his fingers and made Earth instantly 0Kelvn for 5 seconds and then snapped the heat back to normal, what would happen? I predict very little. I think even quantum physics needs motrion. (But what do I know) Unless being at 0K robs the Earth of ALL motion, not just molecular motion, then I dsobt we would notice. There is an enormous difference between the nearly unreachable 0 degrees Kelvin anything short of that. Just as there is an unimaginable difference between 99. 999% the speed of light and 100. 001% of the speed of light. Just as there is an enormous difference between 0Kelvin and anything this video talked about. And I'm honesty getting sick of the click bait titles. These are theoretically science vids right? -What if- my ass. No -What if Earth dropped to Absolute Zero was discussed was it? There is no such thing as -no heat-, even in absolute zero the particles keep moving, just at their minimum. Absolute zero = minimum movement. But we don't know what would happen, or even if it possible, if particles came to a total halt.
It is interesting that -zero- is still an imaginary quantity invented by men to express absence of something in a scale accepted by a society.
