4: 40 -Even if you traveled at the speed of light it would take you 635 years-. No, it wouldn't. It would be 635 years for those on Earth or any other stationary external viewer. For those on the ship traveling at or very near the speed of light, the trip would be nearly instantaneous. If you left today at the speed of light, got there, found out it was not habitable, and turned around, you would get back to Earth in the year 3293.

Knowing all this information makes me realize there certainly is God who wanted us to be on this planet, I mean it needs millions of things to work together on super perfect laws, patterns and designs without fail in order for it to make life possible on a rock and I can't say all of this happened on its own just like that.

We wont thrive without the ecosystem we evolved within. We dont thrive in space and we wont thrive on another planet. Not as we are now anyway, and genetically engineering us to thrive on a planet so different from ours would involve too many variables. We need to fix the damage we have done and are doing to this planet.

You know what would suck? Going through cryosleep, arriving at a planet you thought you would be the first people to get there, but turns out humans finally developed faster than light travel while you were asleep, already colonized the planet, and totally forgot you existed or thought you died.

If they were in fact traveling at the speed of light, they would arrive there instantly. It would only feel like 600+ years for those on earth watching them go, time stops when you're moving at the speed of light. Time dilation is an implication of Einstein's theory of special relativity.

How much you wanna bet some future filthy rich a-hole will want to buy one of these planets. i really hope we get pass that stage in evolution, once humanity gets to explore anorther planet. Else we are gonna take all of humanity's ills to another world.

Warping space is a better option than light speed travel.
635 years at light speed,
Less than a week by warping space.
We don't have it yet, but.
The only thing that separates science fiction from science fact, is time.

Nerd Fact: at Warp 7 you could get there in twenty years.
Also, the hypothesis behind this data set can run in the negative for every positive as there is no ACTUAL way to know what this planets actual atmosphere is like.

What if there is a life that is superior to humans in kepler 22-b, did we able to match their tech,
There are many solar systems with many earths like ours, if they come we have to be prepared with everything we got --

If you travel at the speed of light, it doesn't take you +600 years to go there. This is for the ones who will stay on Earth. In the ship, the travel would be shorter. In an eye blink if you travel the speed of light: p

if you could fly near speed of light, your flight time would be only few days/ hours or even seconds. because of special relativity time dilatation. on earth it would pass 635 years. so maybe your mission would be forgoten

If you travel to space and fly at 300k kph for 1 whole year, you'll have travelled 1 lightyear, so there's no way you'll get to wherever that planet is because it will take over 600 years to reach it

These people won't get that far. Have you seen the distance to the planets. Forget science fiction bullcrap. Humanity will not go on interstellar journey. They will destroy themselves first

We-ll just mess it up. God forbid if there-s another race there. We wouldn-t do shit but kill them and take the planet. Smh. Earth needs to get rid of us. We-re the problem.

Traveling at the speed of light will bring you to the destination instantly. It is only the observer outside will have to wait for you for 635 years

Imagine we spend trillions upon trillions of dollars to go to this planet to inhabit it in the future only for a whole alien race already habiting it.

Doesn-t gravity increase proportional to mass? -
If the mass is 36 times that of Earth wouldn-t the gravity also be 36 times that of Earth?

If humans evolved on gravity-intense planets, they'd end up becoming muscle-jacked dwarves from those medieval fantasy genre.

The good news is that the speed of light is relatively variable. It doesn't have to actually take 635 years to get there

It-s mind-boggling how space works. And everything we see is in the past. My mind just does not want to accept that.
