What If You Were Attacked by a Komodo Dragon?

A giant, fork-tongued lizard with razor-sharp teeth. And a bite with bacteria-laced venom that's seeping into your flesh. Well, this is no legend. It-s a Komodo dragon. What would happen if you were attacked by one of these giant lizards? What would be your best bet to fight it off? When I visited Bangladesh during my childhood in 1996, I remember seeing Komodo dragons in villages bit they posed no threat. Locals were worried because they ate chickens and goats that they raise. They used to tell me some Chinese looking people hunt and take them away and if you can catch one they will buy. During my recent visit they are no more as per locals. I wonder were those Indonesians who used to take them away?

If you were attacked by a Komodo dragon, it would be a very dangerous situation. Komodo dragons are large reptiles that can grow up to 10 feet long and weigh over 300 pounds. They have sharp teeth and claws and can deliver a bite that is extremely venomous. If bitten, you would need immediate medical attention to prevent serious infection and blood loss. The best course of action to avoid an attack would be to stay away from known Komodo dragon habitats, such as the islands of Indonesia where they are natively found.

Pet Friendly? Makes absolutely no sense and delusional to take these facts for granted as idiots don't keep them on leashes. When it eats you or your neighbors Anaconda, wolf or coyote eats you and your kids don't say you weren't told Americans by an idiot Woman of color. Gee thanks Cirque for leaving your ugly, stinky foul diseased pets all over the place!

God imagine encountering a fully grown 10 ft komodo as a young child! You would suffer one of the most terrifying deaths imaginable! Not only would it be more than capable of swallowing you, it very likely would trap air in with you starting a race between running out of oxygen, or burning alive in the komodos stomach!

If you can slightly climb a tree you-d probably be fine. Although they-d probably stake you out till you come down. That is if no one is aware of you missing. Their speed is 20kmph which for most adults is pretty manageable. I don-t see them as a huge threat unless you-re ambushed off guard.

I'm actually flying out to Indonesia in a few weeks and will spend part of my time there sailling around the Komodo Islands. In my research, I'm pretty sure I recall a tourist in the past few years disappearing and later being found to have been killed by a Komodo dragon.

Why can-t us humans have super cool powers like other animals. We-re just boring, we-re lame, we-re normal. I want to grow claws and put them back in when I want, like a cat, or fly with wings, put venom in my mouth so I can bite down on people, or something

The worst part of being eaten by the Komodo dragon is the fact that, while your body would gradually fail and shut down, you'd feel every pull and bite!
The main purpose of Komodo dragon's venom is to immobilize the reptile's prey.

imagine after venom makes its job and you cant move anymore and you see a pack of komodo dragons approach and starts to eat you alive

and the worst part is, they run faster than you - ever wondered how if jurrasic park was real? well, it's time to visit that island.

False information about the bacteria part
As far as i read its not due to bacteria but the dragons themselves contain poison

What cracks me up is seeing Robert Irwin treating these things like a dog. It-s really amazing. To me they look like dinosaurs.
