Nothing is better than Earth for humans, because we cant live without the environment we evolved within. Every form of life is stuck on the planet they evolved within, within. That's why aliens haven't visited. Even if a planet evolved life, solved this problem, and left their own planets, time ans space are so vast a million year old civilisation is still a blink. Two blinks happening at the same time in close range is improbable in the extreme, so we aren't going to learn from aliens how to overcome the leaving our home problem.

Seems like it would be a lot simpler and more logical to just build our own space colonies that are custom fitted for our comfort and survival in orbit of the planet we are already on.
