Is America in Decline? Raycloud: America is too racially diverse to rebound. You can't have a rebound or a resurgence of nationalism when you've imported half your population from civilizations that have nothing in common with your own. No shared history. No common bond or glue. Oh sure, Diversity is tolerable when times are good but when times are bad people become more ethnically tribal. That is human nature. The only Americans who care about the Nation truly are the descendants of the people who created it or are close enough by blood to those people to consider them their fellow kin. Anyone else just see's a bunch of historical others in white wigs talking about ideas that grew from a foreign culture and history and people to them that they don't resonate with. America could rebound from its past crises because it had a unified people with a broadly common identity from their broadly shared history and cultural values derived from it. That won't happen this time. Parts of the country will survive but not the whole. Our dear video creator shares the same blind spot in his thinking that Peter Zeihan does; when he thinks about demographics he looks at age and nothing else. He doesn't consider the details because he thinks they don't matter. He thinks Chinese youth and Bantu youth and Anglo or European youth are the same thing. They are't. Most especially when their elders aren't even of their tribe. Most certainly when their capabilities are not the same. America will in the end look largely like South America because it has imported so many millions of South Americans. You WILL get robbed on the High Ways. Your trains will be looted, your stores will be looted, and you'll have to start bribing local government and law enforcement. To some degree Whatifalthist believes in magic soil. Environment, natural and otherwise, shapes an organism and that organism in turn shapes its environment. This problem extends to Europe too, of-course, which won't be recovering either due to having also committed genetic and cultural suicide by importing foreign human populations.

Space colonization is not happening this century or any century.
Firstly, it is insanely expensive and offers next to no return. Putting a single human being in orbit requires a ton of resources, physical and fiscal, making the bill enormous. Most people think asteroid mining will foot the cost, but there are two huge problems with that. Firstly, the costs are beyond expensive - how many missions go to the asteroid belt? How long do they take? If it happens, it won't be manned. And, of course, if asteroid mining did succeed and opened up vast amounts of resources, it'd crash the economy by dumping resources on the market. In either case, there's no way to foot that bill.
Permanent colonization would be a nightmare. People on Mars would be bathed in radiation, and their whole lives would be spent in climate controlled domes and looking at a scoured, featureless surface. Children born on Mars would suffer massive defects due to the low gravity and high radiation. Even if they survived infancy, they could never return to Earth, being frail due to living their whole life in Martian gravity. Women also tend to stop ovulating in constrictive environments without natural light, so natural childbirth may be impossible.
A space colonist would be sickly, deformed, and live a life entirely reliant on technologies where one minor failure could mean death for hundreds.
Of course, innovation is offered as being the solution. We'll just engineer the colonists to be perfect for space. Ignoring the obvious ethical quandry of turning people into a product or the potential for eugenics, are we even sure this can work? We can do some wacky genetic shit, but is it possible to magic someone into being immune to radiation and unaffected by gravity. In science fiction where genetics are legos, maybe, but it's much, much harder in the real world - adding to the astronomical (pun intended) cost of space travel.
We aren't going to space, and anyone in their right mind really shouldn't want to.

The US has a major weakness that you aren't really addressing. A major pillar of power for the American elite it's the ability to pit the minority groups against a perceived White center - the idea of American history as an endless struggle against evil, racist WASP villains is so important to the country's narrative that it was taught to us in school. But long term this is not sustainable. Look at the violence that occurred as a result of recent police killings and now imagine that whites were a minority. The potential for serious, and state sponsored violence seems extremely high. If you add a major economic downturn to the mix, the chance of violence would probably be a limit approaching one.
Your statement that America has a healthy birth rate - made at 8: 05 - actually only exacerbates this problem as the White American birth rate is not actually at replacement and is lower than the death rate in certain states. In fact, the median age of White Americans is 44 - for Chinese the number is 38. 4.
The simple reality is that unless Hispanic Americans decide to become White via a kind of cultural assimilation, the country is liable to rip itself apart over racial grievances. You have said before that you are surprised at how far Social Justice has gotten already, but I really don't see why you're surprised at all. For me, the answer is obvious: Demographics. For many minority groups the democratic candidate is preferable Irregardless of his or her politics because the alternative is viewed as inherently racist. I don't know if you grew up here, but I did, and the indoctrination is powerful.
Furthermore, your claim that Americans will become wealthier and have more children, and thus avoid a demographic crisis, is questionable. Full disclosure here, I used to share your position on this, but I switched sides when I started investigating more deeply. I do not see any evidence for a baby boom in the near future - the rise of toxic Manosphere ideas is only making this worse.

We must push for a socialist Constitutional direct liquid democracy.
End private property and copyrights.
End passive income.
Push for personal property and open source
Push for planned economy with ai and online sensors and use automation to automate as many jobs as fast as possible.
and shared work Aka 4hour work days or 3 days a week with same pay level and more employees.
you get the actual real value for the actual labor you actually do rather than private property and copy royalty rights and wage theft.
And push for automation as fast as possible
Aka a new version of socialism. And we must end capitalism.
There is the worker class aka proletariat and the owner class aka the bourgeoisie and thet are not are not are friends the rich are the enemies e that's why they steal from us oppress us.
Their wealth is our poverty
Their power is our weakness
Their control is our helplessness
Their existence is our Extinction.
We Couldn't reform monarchy or the religion that is why we had to take away all their power.
We can't reform capitalism and the bourgeoisie to serve the masses will. just like we couldn't with the others thats why we must move to socialism constitutional direct liquid democracy where we the masses / worker's have the power
it's always so sad just like in the past when you saw peasants fighting for the right of the monarchy and the royalty to rule over them.
Even though they're peasants.
And now today we see workers fighting for the bourgeoisie to own and rule everything including their lives.
Even though their workers.
The monarchy promised the peasants eternal life with religion.
The bourgeoisie promised the workers that they have a chance to become rich too.
Same Lie different clothing

I think you underestimate how much regulatory bloat there is in the US. The reason why our infrastructure is so outdated compared to China is because it is so difficult to build anything in the US because of regulations. While the Chinese can erect skyscrapers in a year, Americans work very hard to prevent anything new from being built- both the governments and the people work hard to prevent building things. While the Chinese cheer when a project is complete, Americans cheer when a project is prevented from breaking ground.
Suburbia is almost a religion to Americans. We still didn't learn our lesson from the 2008 recession. The reason why rent is so high is because most land is zoned to suburbia and it is illegal to build affordable apartments. You can't really be all that social or successful when large parts of the population either live with their parents or spend nearly all of their income on rent.

Is the US stable birth rate dependable? Meaning are the majority of the people born here have allegiance to the US? The majority of the new births are Hispanic people most of which identify as American first but some do identify as other meaning their family's country of origin. The US needs to do a better job at helping its citizens feel included; blacks and browns feel alienated. Asians tend to assimilate and align more by the second generation. We have large demographics of subcultures that look at American main stream culture as something it repudiates. I don't know if this is enough to rebell against it in a violent way. But it doesn't speak much to a stable unified population. Even with a stable birth rate how loyal will these new births be?

Decline is a big word. As long as intellectuals from all over the world are still flocking to the US (and that is still happening, the US will be fine. Every year, so many educated people come from all over the world to the US to study here, and very often stay here. This is America's strength. What IS changing is that America is losing its stronghold as a sole world power. But remember that during the Cold War, the US also had to share its power with the Soviets. The US needs to rethink its strategy about world domination. Rather than invade and rule, the US should do more like invest and grow like the Chinese do. Problem is that the US has proven itself to be a very unreliable warmongering partner, so clearing that name is going to be difficult.

America will likely continue but, within 50 years, as either a North American Union or attachment to Canzuk or Anglosphere--not based on race but, instead Common Law, Good Government, & economic traditions.
Globalization is dying, bad for China, but good for America with cheap, nearby Latam labor, fertile land, good rivers, and a strong military infrastructure.
Social cohesion is America's weakness but a conservative SCOTUS and aging Boomers will make way a Left leaning Millennial political consensus. We are witnessing the last gasp of social conservatism. A merger with NAFTA nations will give way to more State's Rights probably chilling out the Culture Wars, too.

In 1970 Hispanics of any description were 1%. You telling me that Americans now is anywhere near what it was when my old man was up to his ass I rice paddies or my granddad was cooling his jets in stalag 3b? I think the president of El Sal summed it up with a flair last week. This don't go down this fast but from within. How much of gdp is them imputation and hedonic adjustment circle jerk. Yeah, estimating the cost of free checking for everyone with a checking account, then adding that to the gdp is real productivity. Take another trip through them books kid and tell me if yes winnin yet son.

because of the non-addressal of the tribal issue (nonstop racial greivance stuff) this video is a joke. Even chinese analysts understand its our main weakness and the surprising cause for most every problem in this country. I mean you literally have mass migration of somalis into minnesota who only care about their own people, you have the indians in tech advancing their own interests, the asians, and the latinos, as well as the native blacks and a tepid counter reaction among whites its just a disaster that was basically allowed to occur by a treasonous elite. USA will not survive this
