How to Kill a Civilization.

How to Kill a Civilization. gwho: Yes, civilizations rise and fall. But the real impact of that isn't really felt when we hear that.
Imagine if your currency is not stable, or if courts only had 10 years left to remain reasonably just, then plunge into total bribery and corruption, or if grocery stores couldn't get enough food and a loaf of bread cost 10 dollars, or a your cryptocurrency's lifespan is 1. 5 years.
THAT's what it means that civilizations rise and fall.
Our institutions (aka social infrastructure) are UNSTABLE. we can't take things for granted, and establishing them again will cost a lot of bloodshed, pain, struggle, poverty, and clinging to something to keep ourselves from giving up, going insane, or just suiciding.

You're doing that annoying thing where you speak as though a nation = civilization. That the Incas and Aztecs may have been on the verge of losing their empires is interesting, and may contribute to their civilization's collapse. but were Ecuador to secede from the Incan Empire, that doesn't destroy the Incan civilization; it just means that civilization now has two nations within its bounds.
Although I suppose it would help if you started off by defining what a civilization is before you started talking about how to destroy one.

America and England are both unique in that their elites are Hostile Occupiers rather than legitimate guides and leaders. Their efforts are focused entirely on thwarting the capacity of the native populace to express and expand themselves both culturally and economically, and they wield institutional power to that end.
If the top wrung of either of these nations were decapitated, it would take less than a generation for both of these nations to revert to the vast alpha energy they had prior to WWII

I need to disagree about French Revolution It did wiped out or so weakened institutions/order remained from Feudalism/Monarchism in west Europe that It caused rise of industrialized West Europe into word domination. It cannoned Equality of all before law. It disrupt old order and rise of new order we mostly accept norm as of today. I am not French btw.

Step one, load up EU4.
Step two, declare war on country.
Step three, get all provinces of desired culture to maximum devastation.
Step four, annex the provinces.
Step five, core/state the provinces.
Step six, culturally convert the provinces.
Added bonus points for taking development from the provinces in any way possible.

The correct term is highly stratified society. To say that ancient societies are aristocratic doesn't make sense. An INDIVIDUAL can be or not be aristocratic. A society is not itself aristocratic. (That's a bit like saying a society is human) a society is rather divided into aristocratic and peseant elements. Otherwise a good video.

11: 20 I think a good example of Asian conservatism holding them back is Chinese ships. Compare a European frigate in the 1700s to a Chinese ship in the same era. Chinese ships havent innovated much since the 1000s. meanwhile a European ship between 1600 and 1800 is vastly different and more advanced.

In short - make sure you're open to pulling your head out of your arse, you can always be wrong and it's okay to admit that and ask for new ideas and try not to uproot good things and replace them wholecloth without actual buy-in from people. Don't lose sight of the world around you.

Many of your critiques of Europe fit Americs, but not perfectly. We have an extreme apolonian class and a degraded slave class and pockets of delusional conservatives who think they can turn back time to the good old days where most people were horribly oppressed. It's weird.

Note on human sacrifice - one of the most important aspects that (at least for me) make human sacrifice make sense is an unquestionable believe in an afterlife. The people are not killed but send: as a slave, as an offering or to live a glorious life among gods.
