Personally, as a European, I see it very unlikely that EU was not going to form. While Germany would not be one of the main founding members, it would still exists, as it was (at least at first) meant to be an economic cooperation to trade steel and coal without export taxes and restrictions. Since Western Germany is rich of steel and coal, the small rhineland states will surely create the EEC, to reduce competition with themselves, enhace trades and profit more. This would shape heavily the EU's system, and maybe increasing the pan-european sentiment, as the EEC would be the main unifying german political entity, without a country.

Countries like Canada that has no cultural justification to exist
Yeah, says the guy who lives in a country founded on getting pissy about taxes, shot their founders and decided to kill some natives about it. The difference between Canada and America's cUtUrAl jUStIfICatIOn tO eXiST, is you're descended from people who decided murder was the only answer and separated violently, and we're descended from people who _asked nicely and got to leave peacefully. _ Now, Mr. Yankee Lynch. Remind me again. _Which one of our countries had a civil war after getting independence again? _

One thing that was neglected was the fact that NATO's conventional deterrence capabilities would have been weaker in this world. In the 1980's, the West German Army fielded 11 heavy divisions (more than the US Army in Europe) and its centre of gravity was in the more exposed North German Plain. Coupled with a stronger East Germany, the prospects of NATO being able to defend Western Europe conventionally would have been significantly lower in this timeline.

Can I recommend a what if video about what if the cotton gin wasn't invented? I think it would massively change the landscape if the world. US slavery would end in 1807, the industrial revolution would've been entirely different, immigration throughout the Americas would've been different, the civil war might not have happened, Japan would still be closed, pearls would be a form of currency still.

Its very annoying how youre narrating something and then you put a picture up full of text that we have to read. Its like theres 2 stories going on at the same time and you have to pause the video and read it and then remember what you were talking about and continue with the video until the next lap of text on the screen.

6: 38. But you forgot the part where De Gaulle relations with US fractured and at one point he tried to break away from NATO and form separate bilateral diplomatic relations. Wouldn't a powerful France (in this scenario) be more of a hindrance to US ambition to dominate Europe?

Yeah Germany is no longer a threat because they were culturally cucked like Japan. So the people's mindset has changed completely. Also EU helped prevent conflict because it had sewn together France Germany Low Countries and Italy together.

The Bavaria/southern State wouldn't have been called Bavaria if it had been created. Otherwise the Swabians and Baden-Wurthemberg would have rebelled over being labeled Bavarian on their passports.
