You briefly mention witches. Well, what is the mythology of the witch She is an old woman, who didn't have children and couldn't lock down a man, either by choice or because her behavior was so repulsive that the Good Man chose another woman over her. (The Witch is either still single or she settled for second choice. Her beauty is fading and she becomes obsessed with maintaining it and once she realizes that the younger, nicer women is now getting the attention she used to get, she has to destroy Snow White. The Witch does this by gaslighting either the young woman directly or turning the tribe against her. We are just seeing this on a mass societal level.
The world made war on itself, twice, in which greatly decreased the male population, that is obviously going to leave a significant portion of the female population without a mate, unless she shares the man. The single women in this coven they form, we call it feminism, convince the young women to chase things other than family during their prime fertile years, I. E. money. They call it career, experiences, fun, finding themselves, etc, but it's just resources.
Unfortunately for those young women, those eggs are dropping and she only has so many of them.
At the same time these women keep increasing the requirements of men to qualify to them, of which it takes years or decades to achieve.

The problem with capitalism is the competitive market. Firms compete to maximize profits and those that do so can reinvest that profit and grow their business enough to take over the market. This means that those who are willing to use whatever means are necessary to maximize profits will eventually take over the market and the more scrupulous will either be forced to emulate their more ruthless rivals or go out of business or find a smaller niche in the market. The problem isn't just that people are greedy, it's that the system actively rewards greedy behavior.
Plato talks about how greedy and selfish behavior is ultimately not to your interest either but that's another story.

Have you even travelled to Asia Lived there Speak any of the multitude of Asian languages Neither do I so I don't broad brush an entire continent. Maybe you should have finished college. It may have guided you to travel and really learn about other cultures before speaking about the human beings you have minimized while you initially said the birth rate is collapsing. But you revealed that you are socially awkward or arrogant to think you are better so you would not have been a legitimate authority on cultures or anything of value. You still have much much more to learn like the rest of us. Genius you are not.

Trying to explain certain Biblical stories to a friend who argues they are backwards, patriarchal, etc, while I am able to see that they are not at all what she is claiming has greatly baffled me for sometime. For awhile I thought it was simply because she is an atheist feminist & indoctrinated with those talking points (like how feminist claim women are as strong as men, which is likely part of the reason but not the full story as she literally could not connect the dots’, no matter how amazing my analogy was, or how well I logical argued, we would always hit a wall that she could not move past.

Rudyard, I am 70 years old. Great admirer of yours and watching your journey as you figure things out. However, after that autobiography event, you need a serious reckoning within yourself.
You understand so many things, except yourself.
At this point, any further analysis of the world outside of you is just a rational carapace protect you from your internal situation.
Only truly open contemplation will get you the wisdom you so crave.
PS, while I agree that a psychedelic experience may have had a lot to do with the episode, it may have also unmasked underlying issues.

I'm guessing you record your voiceover while background visuals are playing, then edit out the pauses to make it sound more consistent. I assume this because the video clips you are talking over are always choppy and skip between your sentences. Incredibly distracting is the feedback I'd give. I enjoy your videos, but I think I'll just be listening from now on, or until that changes. Probably more work for you in editing, but it would improve the quality of your presentations.

Being religious is a form of mental illness. However, since so much of our civilization and history is shrouded in mental illnesses, it is highly hypocritical to attack religion over this. We literally naturally select out intelligence from the mating pool. Is that not insane We were clearly designed to always be low iq primates. Why not embrace the insanity of worshiping some random deity even though it obviously doesn't want to speak to us directly

As a millenial Working in a field of healthcare where theres a mix of peers from gen x to gen z i see a lot of the condescension towards gen z. I dont get it. My primary contact is with gen z women so i cant speak much for the men but judging by the women theyre damn smart. The understand the system, they know how to work the system and they hate the system. I think if anyone is going to bring the managerial oligarchy to its knees its gen z.

13: 45 I suppose it depends on the brand of wokeness you're looking at. The brand I tend to be more interested in is the more libertarian socialist/anarchist brand which does have a more humanist as you put it ideology. It focuses on building small scale local institutions that allows local communities to take care of our own needs rather then depend on the government or big business.

The machine itself is our new god. We worship it. We make sacrifices to it. We celebrate it in our modern holidays. Our new god watches us at all times, we carry around tracking devices, I even observed a drone hovering directly over me earlier today. I like to call it the beast, because it always demands for us to feed it. It will eventually consume us as well.

I'm glad I got the day off today. The plant I work at dosen't have any sunlight. It's all concrete, metal and blaring lights. That lunch room is unbearable with their giant tv and gaudy white walls.
Saw the morning sun for the first time in 2 months. Felt so happy. I'm also trying to eat better since the only thing they serve at my workplace is junkfood crap.
