I've really come to the conclusion that when shows that hold on for two to three seasons and are starting to over stay their welcome should get a TV movie to wrap on. Figure it can be sold as a stand alone DVD to the core fan base to sweeten the additional cost. Especially after the new Veronica Mars movie was kick started but apparently still feels like a TV movie. Farscape handled it halfway decent with their TV movies but just end a season, if you know you're not getting renewed have a contingency film script ready to shoot and release it mid-summer with a DVD release for November and black Friday. It's cheap, ends on a high note, and let's the writers give closure.

The 'new Evil Dead movie' thing hasn't been confirmed. Bruce Campbell has a running joke of saying that there's gonna be one to appease the fans, since we've been asking for years now. Even so, there probably will be a new one at some point (whether it's Evil Dead 4, a sequel to the remake, or Army of Darkness 2, but I don't think what he said is any indication of it.

Maybe they should have revived series in the same universe, but with different characters or time periods (example: show the unification wars before Serenity Valley or the life of an alliance officer chasing Serenity or even a little one shot short on what happened to River in the Academy)

Glad I didn't see South Park in the comments. 17 season. :) I actually enjoyed every season of Prison Break. Now if they do continue with Breaking Bad seasons I won't watch because i think they have hit their climax.

seriously. Canceling COMMUNITY! I agree that the first time it got canceled, it would have been perfectly fine. However, the way they brought Jeff Winger back fit PERFECTLY to fit another 2-3 seasons AND a movie.

If you think about it, Chris was right about Community. The Writing got worse with all the characters leaving and the last story arcs were either never talked about or given a disappointing pay-off.

I don't like this because after a while of rewatching the show, you get sick of it. So, if there were more episodes, the more you can get from that show.
