It's sad when people say this summer movies were the -lowest point since. whenever-.
It's an excuse to say that this movie wasn't bad.
But it is bad.
Don't let anyone say different.
The only thing people keep saying that was fun about the turtles was the elevator scene.
And it's true.
That WAS the only good part.
(That doesn't justify 90 minutes of a bad movie)
And people keep hating on GOTG (like it isn't better)
Just because paramount has better advertising and publishing can they sneak around and say things like. -it was a bad year in cinema, that's obviously why tmnt isn't doing good in theaters-

The 1990 Turtle original film was always the best in my opinion. It was very dark, while still remaining kid friendly. One minor detail about these new films that I thought was cool is the individual size and physicality of the Turtles. I could be wrong, or just remember it differently, but I feel like they were all basically the same size. Raph being the largest and most physically intimidating, and Mikey being the smallest add more to the characters. Only thing that threw me off was Donnie being so tall and lanky. Just not how I'd imagine him.

So sick of technology driven movies. first 3D comes along, and all of a sudden we're flying through every single scene in a movie, now this comes along and every movie stars a bunch of talking animals.
