Big Hero 6 is More Than Just a Disney-fied Version of a Marvel Classic - Angry Nerd

When Disney announced the launch of Big Hero 6, Angry Nerd was skeptical it-d turn into another kid-friendly version of Marvel IP. Turns out the House of Mouse was able to adapt the classic comic (albeit with a few major changes) into an entertaining animated feature that-s not just another Disney dud

As you said here, Big Hero 6 started out as a comic book hero team. Wreck-it Ralph is a game character. Once Upon a Time is about fairy tale characters. Comic books and video games are not considered fairy tales unless they are about fairy tales. Fairy tales usually start out as regular (NOT comic) books. Comic book heroes and video game characters are not considered fairy tale characters. I think you need to look up the definition of -fairy tale. -
As for the things about comics being made into bad shows, I agree with the people that hate Teen Titans Go. There has been a much better show based off of those comics. Teen Titans Go is literally a joke. That is actually why you said it is fine: because it's funny. You said Ultimate Spider-man was bad because it WASN'T funny. The Spider-man show is fine in my opinion. It didn't turn serious people into a bunch of fools like Teen Titans Go. Spider-man ISN'T serious really. Meanwhile, Robin usually is. Even so, the show makes an entire episode about a STAFF. In the original series, Robin did NOT treat the staff like a person. He did NOT do things like walking into the room that all the other members are in and hitting them with his staff saying, -STAFF MEETING! - I can tell you one thing: If that guy was ever Batman's partner, then the world must've been ending, because that is the WORST Robin I have ever seen. Yet that is supposed to be Tim Drake? THE HECK! The show was obviously meant for kids! That is not meant to be offensive, btw. It probably is funny, but even so, there is a point where adding funny parts goes too far. I will never EVER accept the team on that show as the Teen Titans. They are some very bad teens. I'd hate to be their teacher! I'd hate to be Batman with that Robin.

I really enjoyed Big Hero 6. And the best Stan Lee Cameo ever. Move over Amazing Spider-Man, your Stan-Lee cameo just got upstaged. However, while the Hiro-Baymax interactions made the film as entertaining as it was, I wish there was more thought put into the supporting cast. Although the two new added characters are original to this movie, I found that they had very interesting characters that I would have loved to have seen explored deeper. I also feel that, unfortunately, the reason Sunfire and Steel Samurai were cut was specifically to differentiate this movie from the Marvel cinematic universe. And even with nods to comic book heroes from Marvel's past and a clear Ant-Man reference, there is a definite trend away from a connection with the main series. My question is this: WHY? At a time when you should be blurring the lines between all comic book universes within the realm of marvel, this film takes it's character and charm and wants to hoard it all to itself. While I understand the obvious visual differences between this film and a main-series marvel film, this could still be a sort of alternate-universe cousin of the MCU, like Jimmy Neutron was to The Fairly Odd Parents. The plot was also way to cut-and-dry. Predictable, and what with Frozen's nicely implemented twist, I was expecting a bit more. Not that Frozen's twist was the pinnacle of story telling, but for a children's movie, it was a bit edgy, and kids LOVED it! Way to safe with the grief trip Disney. Edgy can be good, just find the right balance.

Somehow Disney has brainwashed this fool into liking their new movie after he saw it. I researched the comic after seeing the movie and now I fear what people feared when disney bought Marvel is happening. Disney is disney-fying Marvel Comics. After some re-watches of the Marvel Cinematic movies, I'm also starting to notice signs of Disney-fying.
Wake up you blind comic fanboys you must wake up! The more you pay money to see a Disney marvel movie the more they'll change and alter classic heroes and villains. When are people going to realize that Disney wants to monopolize the entertainment industry, why do you think they're buying everything? All their movies are distractions to keep you off their track. Disney's Big hero six revealed DIsney's true nature to me and I have had it with DIsney and Marvel working together. Something must be done to seperate Marvel studios and disney so Marvel can make comics and movies without Disney watching them.

If I recall correctly a suit from either Marvel or Toei Animation said that they would not bring Disk Wars Avengers because it's too japanese and weird for mainstream american marvel fans. While I can see the point, it's a entertaining kids show and after the initial shock I bet it would win over most kids and even some adult fans. At the very least it's better than anything I've seen Disney do with Marvel's proprieties in the tv cartoon department. I could be wrong, but it's not like they'd have much to lose. Even if it were to bomb it would be a excuse to bring in the toyline and any toy with the Avengers, specially at the time this show came out. would sell on it's own, so the chances of it being a finantial bomb would be little even if it happened to be a ratings bomb.

Ultimate Spider-Man > TTG, ultimate Spider-Man actually represents the characters well. instead if Robin being a coward, star fire being a clueless immagrant, raven being a stereotyped goth girl and the other two are just retards. Plus it teaches offal lessons, if you don't watch tv your brain will melt, veggies are bad, always cheat or find loopholes, never win fairly, treat your friends like crap, if you think you are driving a get away vehicle, then keep driving to get your driver's license. And being it is for kids, this us actually bad. It teaches kids terrible things, they could have just did a teen titians show like young justice or the new animated movie!

Hey, my comment was there, so in response to your thoughts and Ultimate Spider Man, I do agree with you. Has there been a good episode, yes, Ultimate Deadpool. I got nothing, and even then, it feels like DiskWars might have a better Deadpool, so Ultimate Spider Man has. nothing. It is nothing. And I'm ashamed it shares the name of the Brian Michael Bendis comic book series, which is still my favorite Spider Man. So yeah, Ultimate Spider Man sucks and should be put in the circular file, AKA the Trash Can.

I liked Avengers EMH on Disney XD, I mean it wasn't perfect, but it was better than any other avengers cartoon adaptation. The story lines were good and than animation was good. Even had a bit of humor in the mix. But then they ended it after only 2 seasons and replaced it with a new show called avengers assemble. Avengers assemble has better animation and is more based off of the movie's team but it has one key problem, it's a piece of shit cartoon that is not worthy to exist on this planet.

On the subject of Teen Titans GO, ever since it began to air, I hated it. I saw it as unfunny, rude, and a disgrace to the Teen Titans franchise.
Somehow I've begun to slightly warm up to it, stopping my tying it with the original television series and putting it into its own universe.
Granted, it's still not something I watch all the time, but if nothing else is on, I may just stay on Cartoon Network to catch an episode or two.

Teen Titans Go is funny, might be because i'm young and look forward to majoring in Visual development so i've got this brain for cartoons. Also i've forgotten a lot of what the original Teen Titans was like so i'm more willing to accept this more looney version of it. This show does get quite crazy. but it will be here for a bit.

Teen titans go isn't a bad or good show the animation is good and it has the friendliness for every one but the characters maybe be a little too over the top and robin is displayed as a but who freaks out over a tiny thing. Also how robins obsession over Starfire is a bit scary and slow
