The picture portrayed here seems very money-centric and not human-centric. The way the coaches talked about it is preselecting one person over another based on their DNA-Sequence and likelihood of maybe being injured - not choosing the person who's most inspired and talented to do the job. I am absolutely pro science, but reducing everything to the best investment is kind of sad. Then again, the teams are probably also a huge sponsor to the research being conducted. It's tragic that research always needs the financial motivation to be properly funded. But that's how the world works, I guess
