You are kidding! You really think the USA is a -democracy-? If it is, it is only for the richest 10% of its population. The USA is a plutocracy. Go and have a good look at your streets in the cities; talk to the black population; talk with your indigenous population (whatever is left of them; talk to the Vietnam civilians that were maimed through the use of Agent Orange by the USA; talk to the million people who dies in the Iraqi war and the 300, 000 civilians that were killed in the name of -freedom-. For a professor of history you have a weak memory. I ask you another question: Have you been in China and is yes, for how long. I say this because I have been there and know what lies the West generates for the sake of the USA type of -freedom- and -Democracy-. Go to China; spend a few months there and have a good look.

WAR CRIME When the United States Drop 2 ATOMIC bombs in Japan.
Atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki
Aug 6, 1945 - Aug 9, 1945
The United States detonated two nuclear weapons over the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on 6 and 9 August 1945, respectively. The two bombings killed between 129, 000 and 226, 000 people, most of whom were civilians, and remain the only use of nuclear weapons in armed conflict.
So if United States bombed Japan in two cities and most were killed civilians. How come there was no war crimes against the United States for killing innocent people. ?
United States killed innocent civilians and there was no war crime against any government of United States.

ah yes, the Orient Tyrants and their very bad evil doing left unchecked would make Planet an unfair enslaved world of all of us, but here in the West we codify slavery into legal practice as too with inhuman treatment, censorship and effective systemic exploitations of our Citizens, and the expropriation and offloading of externalities on Asia and Africa and sometimes amongst our lesser western brethren, because We the people luv our darwinian styled Rule of Law and so everybody can be a millionaire and I am become Death in their own lifetime, legally and furthermore, with Virtuosity and Righteousness: the Meek shall inherit the Earth, that's our morality, our Soul, now in danger.

The problem with Dictatorship, China Dictatorship is that:
1. XJP is Not the People.
2. XJP Does Not Represent the Will of the People.
3. XJP wants to massacre TW. But the People of China never say they want this.
4. Although Dictatorship controls the people with iron fist, the Dictator is merely 1 man. If he is taken out, his rule ends. So, Dictatorship is 1 billion times more weak than we are made to perceive. Its merely 1 man.
5. Dictatorship has no Legitimacy because its not backed by the People

Watched just the first minute & compelled to comment. I think Michael speaks 2 non-sensical things just in the first minute. (1) China is an autocracy & wants to promote that view -- how can this be substantiated, which non-autocracy country that China has promote its autocracy system to? (2) China wants every country to be able to censored the internet -- sure China wants to censor, what proof do you have that China wants US to be able to censor too?

A lot of wrong basic information. For example, China does not have the largest net debt increase in the last 10 years, not even close. That crown belongs to the US.
Another example, China had and still has the fastest productivity growth among major economies, and certainly not negative.
How can a social science professor of a leading university get such simple, basic economic information wrong? Is it intentional?

China has made a deal with the devil. Psychology is a great tool to help you understand what motivates people and why. The things certain people will do, especially those that are responsible for others, is beyond anything most could imagine. The thing about making deals with the devil is, he hates you too and is loyal to No human being. Mark my words, all who turn their backs on God will burn for eternity.
reply

You deal with the devil (China) and you get burned. China is powerful because the west (mostly United States) started doing business with them when China had a struggling economy. Now they turned on the entire west like a nation full of Judases. Democracies and totalitarian countries do not mix. You cannot have a peaceful global economy when countries don't have same basic values.

I'm chewing peanuts. What about the millions of refugees in Middle East region and Afghanistan? As the Foreign Office of China just said, you can do whatever you want. Just don't pick China. Even it does sell for a few dollars by your talk show. Check World Bank and IMF for more facts. There are over 200 countries on planet earth, not just China and the US.

Looking for intelligent and educated responses here.
Why does everyone keep referring to the United States of America as a democracy? Its a constitutional republic. We pledge allegiance to the republic for which it stands. Not the democracy for which it stands. Have I missed something?
