I used to have a comment stating that this video was very incomplete and if nothing else, not quite accurate. I was wrong.
(Not about the opening statement. Because most magicians don't claim to do real magic. But thats irrelevant)
It's not inaccurate or incomplete. I did not take into account the way a 5-10 minute has to be constructed.
My claim regarding this video was 80% ignorance and 20% immaturity.

Those are pretty crappy tricks though. Any card trick where you refuse to prove that it's not a standard pack of cards will fail to impress anyone. Same thing with the spoon. Anyone over the age of 4 would draw the conclusion that the spoon is broken beforehand. And of course, the last -trick- wasn't a magic trick at all, but a camera trick.

But most magicians shows you and makes sure you know that nothing is being modified. like for example, the spoon trick, they would show you the whole spoon and make you touch the spoon and stuff and for the card trick, the would let you hold and check the deck yourself.

First rule about being a Magician is to never reveal your secrets. Now over 2 million people don't have the ability to be amazed by things that people spent a lot of time creating. Sad face and very sad that Wired put this out.

So our brain lies because we've been lied to in the first place by the magician? No actually we believed it or convinced that it can happen. Magician hides it trick but basically lies through his mouth and dirty tricks

The difference between magic and illusion is magic has no secrets it is the unseen being who is doing what the person says, but illusion requires so much effort and has secrets. illusion is tricks but magic is not.

Why is he claiming that most magicians claim to have super powers!
None of them do! They all admit that its illusion.
Anyone who doesnt calls themselves a psychic or something like that.

When i started watching the video, i thought that something was wrong about the focus. At the end i totally forgot, but when he showed the glass, i understood what was wrong with the focus.
