Chris Hadfield is wrong regarding the coldness problem of space. It-s true that space itself is very cold but that doesn-t really mean anything in the traditional sense since there is hardly any matter to dump heat to. As with any other vacuum, space happens to be the world-s best insulator. Slice a thermos open. Does it contain some insulating material between the inner and outer can? Or is it simply insulated by a vacuum between the two? Well it also goes under the name of -Vacuum flask- for a reason and hence why it can retain what ever temperature of its contents for so long. Space/vacuums are very bad at transporting heat away. So you won-t freeze and lose body heat if exposed to space any faster than your body can radiate the heat away which is a very slow process. It-s the sunny side, the boiling of bodily fluids due to a lack of pressure as well the bends and no oxygen that you would have to be concerned about. Not any loss of heat on the -cold- side. You will be long gone for other reasons before the cold side would start to become a problem. And that -problem- won't even be painful since it isn't exacly a flash freeze. Even the fluids seeping out of your skin are of greater concern since they quickly evaporate in the vacuum taking a lot of heat with them.

Clearly humans were never meant to be off of Earth. The smartest scientist's to ever walk this earth never seemed to realize that. But yet humans are going to be humans and eventually destroy themselves. God made us to be on earth, not on Venus or Saturn or Mars or traveling light speed and going into cryo sleep and trying to live forever. If we all perish on earth because of global warming or whatever it's our doing. Like it or not humans are selfish and greedy and we deserve what we get.

After all these years, I always wanted to know the smell of space and finally, we have gotten the answer. I wonder why it took so long to answer, maybe because Nasa is running out of interesting space facts. Here is a joke for you, -we found organic life on mars. We were going to try to colonize the planet after the amazing find of life but, the mission was aborted. The reason? It was only a clump of cells. -
BTW, I trust science.

Uhm. -As I'm standing here, talking right now, gravity is pushing me down to the floor-. That's gravity is PULLING you down to the floor. Right? The mass of the Earth is the source of our gravity, and thus, it's pulling us towards the center of the Earth. Just as other heavenly bodies are trying to pull us away. (Slightly. None close enough to do much.

It's still frying up there. Pot is still hot.
we are safe here on this planet, thank the Lord.
It's high time we humans stop taking things for granted.
There is no other place we can survive in. Gr8 lord has gifted only this planet for our kind.

? People believe these guys still. How many times do they need to be caught on livestream screwing up. Or walking through NASA with their 3d -green screen-(not green) in the background. Like. what are you people doin with that money.

I wonder what it feels like to take a space suit off after a successful mission. Does it feel good to take all that off and free up after spending weeks or even months floating around. I bet it's a big relief. Re entry would be scary.

Likely smells like that because of all the burnt metal and ceramics we throw up there. Plus ozone is reactive and has a distinct smell. Plus it's blue up there as opposed to the white smog version down here.

Everytime I see the thumbnail of this video in my recommended section, I missread the title to be:
-Space smells like teen spirit-
Always takes me a another second to read it correctly.
