This woman that claims to cycle 167 mph or what ever on a bicycle is a cheat and a fake, her cycling technique behind a car with suction chamber is cheating, for any true land speed record is done in the open air that the body would have to cope with wind drag and resistance. Her legs confirms facts that to maintain such speed, she would need massive led muscles, even with the modified drive train of the bike her legs do not peddle fast enough to state the speed she claims. why wasn't a camera live recording the odometer as to the speed they are claiming so that viewers can also see the true speed she is going.

She broke the record. Congratulations! Mainstream media reported:
-The fastest human to ride a bicycle over open ground is named Denise Mueller-Korenek, who rode a custom bike at an average of 183. 932 miles per hour - shattering a world record that had stood since 1995.
Mueller-Korenek, 45, set the new record for fastest speed riding in a slipstream, teaming up with Shea Holbrook, a professional race car driver who piloted a dragster that led the cyclist across the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah. -

Yup. How to cheat on a bicycle by using a motor vehicle as a technically legal pedal assist system. I have a 1HP 25cc Honda engine on the front wheel of a Huffy cruiser. I only go up to around 25MPH. Human beings can only output up to around 90W on a bicycle with only pedaling the bike. What if I break her record? I might put a jet engine on my bike and go. That's cheating too, but fair's fair lol

So what-s up with these butt hurt comments saying -it-s not fair she using a chute-, -she is cheating- etc.
JUST get over if you can-t ride your like her then don-t complain, unless you can do it, but first take those training wheels off!

how about attaching a reverse turbine to the back of the car, then the suction would drag the bike along and she would not have to move her legs at all and be the -fastest- anyways. im calling bs on this as it has nothing to do with cycling!

This feels like more of an experiment in aerodynamics and how drafting works vs. a record attempt lol Especially when you could take any average cyclist and throw them on the bike and tell them what to do.

There were some guys that did this behind a semi, just like they were commuting. Pretty cool phenomenon. Of course it's going to take some creativity to get 1/4-1/3 HP to maintain that kind of speed.

The car set the record not the bike
She was just holding a car she didn't make that speed with her peddles, I think my friend sunny could easily do that 10x better then her

unfortunately most of her fame here is based on her support/equipment, not really her skill or physical superiority. Any pro cyclist would beat her given same support.
