-Some people thought this accent was an offensive stereotype- Well isnt that just typical of these hyper-offended halfwits not to bother finding out that the actor was Vietnamese. Almost suggests that these PC idiots are just looking for the offence rather than the truth.
Also Jennifer Lawrence: she was good in American Hustle. to my mind that was it. One performance does not a great actor make.
As for Butlers apology: its perfectly fine. So few people watched his movie that it just didnt matter to us.

Honestly as a native Californian Nicole Kidman California accent was absolutely awful with the clips that you particularly picked. I have never seen what she was acting in at that point I don't know if that's a TV show or movie but whatever it was, she doesn't awful job with those particular Clips I don't know if it's better in other clips but you could tell that she was not even close to a true California accent

I have an Australian Accent, born in Australia. But apparently I can take off any accent with ABSOLUTE accuracy - go around all the counties in Britain, across Europe etc. (My Mother is British, with the BBC accent, my father was Canadian, they both spoke French. I wanted to ask why one day in England or America - our entire accent is highjacked? I cant retain my Aussie accent at all. Why does that happen?

Wow, I'm surprised he named dropped Austin TX (where I live. But the Texan accent being discussed at the name drop is definitely more east than central (which I consider Austin. It was interesting saying the word as he was explaining it. I definitely don't say it how he says east Texans do despite being a native (probably because its more urban than the rural-sounding one in the video. lol

Am I the only one that feels like when Daniel Kaluuya says --American experience, - at 7: 40, that feels like that actually sounds very English and not American at all? Not to discredit Erik because he's obviously brilliant but I wonder if he just missed this or maybe he was shown a different clip at the studio than what we see in the video.

Geez I would love to hear him critique my southern accent since I've lived in the South my entire life. He would probably say something like, -You can tell he is trying to hard because of how this word is pronounced but then forgets to carry that sound to the next word. - I'm a bit of an odd ball anyway since I don't have a strong accent at all.

18: 16 My own accent is a nonregional northern American accent which is, as you would say, always rhotic. However, I will, once in a blue moon, swallow one of my -R-s in a word that makes it easy. For example, sometimes I say -venacular- instead of -vernacular. - And, yes, sometimes I pronounce -Kimberly- like -Kimbely. -

I-m so happy you did Andrew Lincoln-s Rick Grimes accent! I think it-s so nice to hear and so well done. When I first found out that wasn-t his real accent I was so amazed and impressed, it was hard to believe until I heard his real accent. Even then it was astonishing. Love the walking dead and Andrew Lincoln!

So glad they used Little Big Lies as an example of California because we tend to get caught in the stereotype that the whole state speaks like a Valley Girl, when in fact only like a third speaks that way. Being said, I can definitely tell when Nicole Kidman's native accent peeks through.

I'm definitely the only person offended by this lmao, but I cant believe he said Austin is east Texas - Sure its east of El Paso, but we refer to the whole area as South Central Texas for a reason, east Texas has a pretty different culture. But I'm definitely the only one who cares
