wow i never had a lesson but when i started playing i could drive par 4, s i grew up on driving range i just loved hitting balls but i played carry distance i hit real high ball i dont get roll

Nah, the best balls were what the folks at the courses were buying when me and my friends dredged em out the water hazards and out of the woods. We charged $1 a piece for the Nike balls

Just to be clear the word record long drive was 515 yards set in 1974. look up real averages with real players. Nicklaus was driving around 300 back in the 60's

I have a hard time hitting 450 yards myself. I've found that if I just do a 3/4 swing rather than hit it hard, I can shorten it up to 450.
