10: 25 Cyberwar is constant, the definition of war just lags behind by some 100 years. Stuxnet crossed the line into a use of force under the Geneva Convention due to the physical damage. Cyber Attacks which don't result in physical injury or destruction (most all of them) cannot be classified as a use of force, so no retaliation is allowed (why it cannot be called War) The Americans are forward thinking on this when they class any cyber attack regardless if it injures or causes physical destruction as a use of force, and they will retaliate, including through physical means.

I'm not super well-informed on this specifically but a lot of straight up -cyber-warfare- doesn't happen because any nations perpetrating such an act are very likely to be just as vulnerable to retaliation. Would cyber warfare be more akin to like, overwhelming and shutting off a power grid, or disabling some other critical infrastructure in a country? She's right you don't really hear much about cyber -attacks- but cyber espionage, stealing information, propaganda, disinformation campaigns etc. is the new norm.

Yes and no. Anybody who wants your data will get it. Encryption will just make it harder for them to get it.
It's like the concept of a physical lock. It doesn't do anything, except present an obstacle. A lock is a lot easier to bypass than encryption, but where there is a will there is a way. It's a lot easier to make make you're data harder to access. It's even easier to make sure that data isn't on your computer to begin with.

For Most People, all you most likely need is a security focused browser (like BRAVE or Firefox, A reputable Antimalware (like Bitdefender or Malwarebytes, A Proper VPN provider (Like Nord or Express) and a Trusted Password Manager.
There are free and paid options for all of these but beware, paid services are more than likely more secure and private than free services. If the product is free then you are the one being sold.

0: 44 Snowden might disagree about warrants. govs can be interested if you have extremist viewpoints.
1: 22 antivirus softwares do not generally recommend using the highest settings, because it can bring false positives with a much higher chance. that's why it's always on a medium level on default. unless you heavily suspect your computer has been compromised, you should leave it on medium.

I haven't seen a comment pointing out that she has heterochromia (two different colored eyes) which is so cool. Or it might be anisocoria (different sized pupils. I can't tell with the lighting, but I have the second one when I get migraines.

I would NEVER, and I repeat NEVER EVER trust ANY -Password Manager- tools out there. Why would you even THINK it's even remotely a good idea, to keep all your passwords in one place and trust any external entity to keep it 'safe' for you? -

I use the name of a friend, family member or favorite character with a number that is significant to that person / character as a BASIS for my passwords (no examples for obvious reasons)

Always provide bogus answers for your security questions. Be sure to record them somewhere offline.
As for changing passwords - So Long, And Thanks For All the Externalities.
