I think that any substance that is objectively less dangerous than the substances that are already legal should also be legal. When it comes to some psychedelics (like LSD and psilocybin, I'd argue that they are less addictive, less harmful to others, and less harmful to the body than alcohol and perhaps even nicotine. Now, perhaps suggesting them to be completely legal is a bit too radical of a proposition in the current political environment, but, they should be (at least) legal for medical use. Although more research would probably be a better -step#1-.

Sad that he thinks thaz the geometrical shapes of DMT is not something that DMT causes but just because of expectations. And even calls those shapes -human created-. He should really get deeper into DMT as it seems he hasnt experienced and informed himslef about it at all. Its proven that thoses shapes and visuals happen by DMT to people that dont even know what they have been given, its not -just expectations etc- at all. And also important, thosr arent -human created- shapes. Its sacred geometry, fundamental in our universe

10: 36 -Do blind people trip on LSD-
The answer is yes, LSD is a substance that will alter all your senses (vision, touch, hearing, taste, etc. A blind person although they wont have the visuals, their hearing will be much amplified.
Have you ever tripped and realized that you sort of have the ability to single out noises, or to hear noises in a song that you probably wouldnt even notice? well a blind person would have the ability to do so as well. so yes. a Blind person can trip. without the visuals.

When I was just out of high school, I was offered lsd and the people I was hanging out with were very insistent that if I had any fear or anxiety going in, I shouldn't do it. On top of all the other warnings, timeframe needed, accidentally revealing deep secrets, dangers of off perception, they explained all the pros and cons and then said -of that scares you, don't take it-. I always respected that

6: 23 WOW! that is by far the best advice and craziest thing about psychedelic's in this video. having experienced that myself i can confirm it can definitely at least help with death and coping with it. i nonstop thought about death and what it is for years but mushrooms definitely helped even just a little. death being was it is, was just terrifying to me.

Love Michael Pollan but I have to disagree with set and setting being the cause of different types of hallucinations by different substances. It's obviously activating something different in your subconscious, even if you don't have expectations and know nothing about the substance, you will have a similar experience as compared to a different substance.

blind people who became blind during life see things on lsd in a similar way to sighted people. they also imagine and remember things in the same way as sighted people.
however people born blind, who never filled their visuala cortex and brain with sight information, do not.

The most important thing I learned was to practice non attachment before and during the session. Don't let negative things take power over you. Allow positive things but don't grasp them either. Just because it hurts or is scary doesn't make it important. Just watch them pass.

The most important thing to not having a bad trip is set and setting, a common adage but true. The people you-re with, the setting around you, and your mindset before hand. If you have something weighing on your mind that day might not be the right day

I've always wanted to try -magic mushrooms- but I'm physically disabled (in a wheelchair ) so I don't really know what the steps. Would be to take, you know?
Because I imagine it would be dangerous to be in my chair while tripping balls.
