Is it hard to deal with a dead body
Does it get easier
Like what was your first experience in the profession
Was that more difficult
It is easy to stay emotionally disconnected
Do some cases bodies stay on your mind for a long time
Do you find yourself thinking about the individuals life and get caught up on there passing
Does it become almost second nature to maneuver limbs and ect. does a dead body lose the frightening novelty or is it like no biggies just a dead body or does it always have the same impact. is it extremely hard to deal with a child's passing do you feel satisfied when the family can have an open cask and you know they can be finally put to rest and because of you the family can haveone last goodbye and also are there many incidents that you cannot bury someone at that stage like problems with appearance and need to wait to fix up a limb ect. for a open casket but there are obstacles preventing a otherwise quick goodbye. and back to the previous question does that make you happy, Content when you can finally put them to rest. also one more question when someone has -moved on- will you sometimes talk to family to find out what person or what kind of life they. had meet there children is there every curiosity or a moral thing to want to know the history and family ect. or would you rather not know the history family

I am not on Twitter and not sure if this guy checks posts here but I always wondered if there are different levels or plans for embalming. I know liquid is quite toxic and not sure if there are healthier alternatives for the environment. Are there plans that offer different features?
My second question would be if anybody in 2022 still does mummification or has he ever got request to perform one? Is it legal? If not legal in US are there countries where you can still do that?

I always put my right hand over my left, the other way feels uncomfortable. I would have to make sure that is known.
But, I think it would be SO CREEPY to have someone messing with my body after I die, so I think cremation is the only option for me.
Especially that talk about sucking out stuff and closing the mouth. Yuck.

Good question for a mortician: have you ever messed up someone-s face on accident or by putting something they are allergic too on them or in them? That would be messed up if he filled in some cheeks to make them look better and made them look different and not the same.

All the things they do to a body scares me because what if I-m paralyzed instead of dead and all these things happen to me- like I could barely handle getting shots in my mouth while fixing my chipped tooth, imagine getting wire drilled into you

I hope this people will resurrect without all these wires etc! That-s why I prefer the Muslim way: washed thoroughly, put in a white sheet and ready to turn into good compost, anyway you-re no longe there you yourself left that body

I just don't get the need to see the person in an open casket. Does it really bring closure? You know they aren't alive so how does it help? Not trying to be rude; I just genuinely don't understand. Can someone please explain more?

As a crematory operator, breast implants do get taken out as do pacemakers. The silicon will make very dark smoke that lasts for a long time. The city would come down on us hard. Pacemakers go boom and can damage the machine.

Not all virus-s are spread via corpses.
Plague Doctors actually had poison at the end of the beaks that are on their mask.
If they contracted the plague they would then commit suicide to slow the spread.

I was hoping someone would ask something I've been wondering about, but there wasn't any, so I guess I'll just ask here.
If a woman dies pregnant, do they remove the fetus, or do they just get buried together?
