J. D. Lenzen, the inventor of fusion knotting, explains knot tying in 15 levels of difficulty, from easy to complex. J. D. starts from the very beginning, with overhead, bowline, and square knots, and moves all the way into more advanced knots that are created in combination with many other different types of knots. Richard: Fought with myself a bunch on this video, and okay, it's not meant to be a guide on survival knots, so I'll be nice.
Though, I would love to see the title changed to Levels of Decorative Knot Tying, especially if we're teaching double overhand as a necklace maker.
We got an overhand, bowline, and slip knot. The rest no one will ever use or encounter unless they dabble in mat making.
Still cool video, just as someone who trusts their life to knots everyday, I expected something different, and that's okay.
