There should have been one additional content patch. The invasions should have been more wide-spread(as in more of them) and should have been their own patch, with more of N'zoth's Minions going to work. Maybe bring back Cho'gal and some other big names(Old Gods can bring people back from the dead) Maybe some 5-man's and Quick-Raid Bosses. The Badlands should have been one of the invasion zones with a new Heroic/Mythic Uldaman, where we find the real Archaedas slumbering as N'zoth's Minions try to corrupt him, only for him to become an Ally like Ra'den. Ny'alotha should have been a quest zone introduced in the final patch along with -The Waking City- as the raid.

I havn't played since Nazjatar, which was already a huge disappointment in both quantity and quality, but this scene with Wrathion and the dagger gave me INSTANT flashbacks of GoT to Arya with the Night King. This whole arch was thrown to the trash. So much terrifying lore and hints over the years to N'Zoth's/Old God power and he ends up killed in the most lackluster manner. At least Yogg'Saron had a fantastic fight and glorious raid to get through first. Can't say the same here.

The huge thing about Lovecraftian works that people often don't think about, the less details the better and that there's no real way to show it. We simply can't produce and multi-reality layered image that would break human minds. The build up of the old gods was always going to be better than their presence. There was just no way to accurately show Ny'alotha or N'zoth.

If Blizz is smart and listens to how poorly the player base feels Ny'alotha was handled, they'll keep true to Warthion's words about trusting perceptions. The best thing for them to do is have the Visions of N'zoth patch in its entirety be a Vision, and that he's still alive and kicking. If we do kill an Old God, they deserve a much better send off than what we got

How the final boss of an expansion that was supposed to focus on the conflict between the Alliance and Horde became an Old God, I will never know. Honestly, I feel like 99% of the problems with BFA stemmed from the fact that Blizzard never understood what its identity was. Like it is about the Fourth War or a weird end of the world scenario. We may never know.

The first scene is a total rip off of lord of the rings ending movie even down to the eye freaking out and the tower falling and then all the buildings of evil crumbling this is why I quit wow the story took a shit after lich king and hasn-t been good since, at least ESO looks better and makes up for it with some sort of story lol.
