Both are great leaders but the fighting animation scene is like kids fighting around during 8 years old and combat logic goes way too off the least reality. Which makes it terrible to watch. The remake need a bit more efforts. Actually I never really understand why wasting resources to remake it, when they can just go to a. perhaps warcraft 5?

Not an improvement. Also not a remaster. They didn-t update the models, the models are worse than before. They changed what happened. What happened before was better though. Illidan and Arthas are supposed to be evenly matched. Not like this. Not Arthas being massively stronger.

In all honesty, despite the great visuals on this, but it doesn't 'wow' me as much as the original.
I can feel the power when their blades first contacted, the loud sound of it always made me goosebumps, then the sound of blades grinding afterwards are satisfying as well.

They really missed a great opportunity to include the details from wrath of the lich king where arthas discarded his heart in that fight as illidan had wounded him
. but of course if they dont let red shirt guy 1. 0 ask questions at blizz con then they dont fact check

Watching this, I honestly feel that online multiplayer storytelling techniques made the great lore of warcraft repetitive and unnecessarily expanded. If what we got was an rts game like Warcraft IV after this, the lore would have been quite different and fresh.

I really do think all the changes (think I notice some cuts and the speed is noticeably increased) makes this fight waaaaaay better. Well done. It's a shame Blizzard being such a small indie studio couldn't achieve this in the original though.

I just realized that this was actually rendered in-engine (with some extra work, but still. When I watched it first I thought it was a regular pre-rendered cinematic. Pretty impressive.

Good fan cut. Watched it side by side with normal reforged cinematic and saw which parts you cut out. Definitely made it feel less rigid and slow.
