I honestly dont see how Arthas was in the wrong here. People have been infected with plague that will turn them into undead and whats even worse is that they will suffer horribly during the process. Once they turn undead they will be very difficult to deal with. Also there is no cure. If you leave them like this they will die anyway and plague will continue to spread to other towns. So only logical option is to end it right here and stop the plague from spreading further, and also end those lives before plague kills them anyways. Uther and Jaina abandoed him and they are at fault for what happened.

Reminder that Uthor betrayed his oaths to the people by abandoning Arthas during his time of need and Jaina did the exact same. If either/both of them had been there they probably could have killed Malganis and Arthus never would have needed Frostmourne and wouldn't have been driven insane by his loss and grief. He did what had to be done, what NEEDED to be done and they shunned him for it. #ArthasDidNothingWrong

This looks better than what we actually got, no doubt, but still looks kinda bad. The camera angles are really static and the animations look plastic af, this would have been good 10 years ago but in 2020 I expect way more from a AAA company like Blizzard. The fact that people were hyped for this is laughable, they should have been disappointed from the start.

This cutscene had gotten me so damn excited. They promised sooo much. All cutscenes redone, extra story bits from the books added in etc. It would have been perfect. but no. Activision didn't want to spend the money, because they couldn't monetize a single player RTS game. I waited my whole life for this remake. oh well.

it seems completely incoherent that the old version has better art direction and -photography- than the new one. Several cinematics that previously had changes in angle and music have become plastified and without music resulting in a soulless work.

I guess even if there was some other way, the people would still die and turn to the undead. In a way, by killing them, Arthas spared them from suffering from the plague. I like to think that their death was mercy

why couldnt blizz do this for all the cutscenes why did they keep it the same as WC3 Original. this is why people got upset cos they were lied about the game cinematics/cutscenes immersion
