Elune has a lot to be grateful when it comes Ysera. Ysera helped save and blessed her -chosen people- (the Night Elves) and she saved and raised her son, Cenarius. A lot of people seem to be confusing Elune's gratitude with some sort of deeper connection. Eonar empowered and reshaped Ysera and charged her with protecting Azeroth through the Emerald Dream. Therefore, Ysera serves Eonar, making her Eonar's -pet-. The Winter Queen's words are a clear reference to Eonar, not Elune. I think Eonar and the Winter Queen are two sides of the same coin, together they represent the full cycle of life, with the Winter Queen representing the stage between death and rebirth. Winter in the Shadowlands is used to represent the time the soul spends in Ardenweald recovering before it is returned to the world of the living through rebirth.
It's also worth noting that Eonar's blessing to Ysera and Alexstrasza sort of mirrors her relation to her sister, the Winter Queen. Both protect life at different stages and in different realms, much like what she did with Ysera and Alexstrasza. Eonar granted each sister a portion of her power, that while essentially doing the same/complementing things, would be done through different realms, causing the sisters to spend most of their lifetimes separated in order to fulfill their duty. I suspect the story between Eonar and the Winter Queen might be similar. I wouldn't be surprised if there's even a bit of resentment with the way the cards were dealt. Given the way the Winter Queen speaks of her sister, there might be a bit of sibling rivalry or bitterness.

Giving her a quick afterlife crisis as a Titan got killed, the planet got impaled, wars started, a world tree got burned down, Old gods tried to take over (again) and the Banshee queen is trying to doom all of existence. She herself also figuring out that the nightmare she had of Tyrande becoming the Night Warrior is probably also real, lampshading the obvious -She's gone savage- problem. Which i am assuming WE will have to deal with it.

The Dreamer, at least when she was an Aspect, was in charge of the interaction between the supernatural realms and Azeroth. This was primarily the Emerald Dream, the 'backup save state' of Azeroth. But she knew Elune, and knew the Shadowlands. And they apparently knew her.
One wonders if the Aspect of Dreams could power and energize the Wyld, if it was intact at the time.

I mean come on, the huge ass tree that is basically the Warcraft's version of Oak of Ages, the Wild Hunt thing, the Winter queen being also a Warcraft version of Ariel, the mage queen of Athel Loren and probably other stuff you can immediately compare it to.

I legit bawled like a baby when this cinematic played. I'm a huge Druid fan and Ysera is my favorite WoW character, it pained me so much to see her pass on in Legion, and the moment I heard snippets of Nightsong play (the song that played when Ysera was saved by Elune in her death) at the Hibernal Hollow, I knew immediately it was Ysera.

I sobbed when I had to kill Ysera, and sobbed again watching her reborn. Of all the Dragons, I love her the most.
I only started playing WoW back in June or July, after the loss of my friend and guild/alliance leader on Neverwinter, but it's cinematics like this that got me so invested in the characters, the lore, and the game itself.

Here is what I want to know. if Ysera is back and now in service to Ardenweald. how in the BLUE HELL are there ANY problems in that area anymore? She's is a bloody DRAGON ASPECT! Powerful enough to fight entire ARMIES on Azeroth and not flinch one bit! Aside from only a few enemies in all of Ardenweald, what could possibly stand up to her?

I really wish they could have done the saving Ysera scene without outright telling us it was her before the reveal. I would have serially died if I had just been strongly suspecting (like I was in the begging) but then have it confirmed upon seeing the constellation.
Still, best part of Shadowlands by a country mile.

Winter Queen. A benevolent ruler yet so soft spoken. She portrays the image of a quiet but firm ruler, but in her heart she feels for her kingdom. Btw did anyone else notice a leaf falling from her branches. Does that mean anything? Maybe if she loses all branches she loses power?

Im lost here, I thought the titans were the one's who gave blessing to the dragons aspects. Now there changing the storyline saying someone thats not a titan, but the winter queen sister gave blessings to Ysera? And who is the queen's sister because it cant be Elune.

I think she was testing her court. It would have been selfish to use that much anima to save a friend. The same decision Aralon had to make about Ursoc. She wanted their blessing before reviving Ysera.

I feel like her sister is obviously either Eonar or Elune. Users is connected to them both but I don't think The Queen is on Eonar's level and Ysera tends to act in Elune's name this can be considered her -pet-.

Ysera has from the beginning was my favorite of the aspects and when i saw her die in legion i legit shed some tears, and now she's come back makes me so happy to see The Mother of Dreams again.
