-Dark Lord of the dead- meaning the Jailer. As soon as Arthas took up Frostmourne his actions were not of his own, he was influenced by the Jailer. Should he really be held accountable for all he did while under the Jailer's control? If Anduin can be forgiven shouldn't Arthas be too? I too, love the story of Arthas, I think his story was one of the most powerful story arcs to come out of World of Warcraft lore. I hope Blizzard uses the Shadowlands to give Arthas a redemption arc, and blame the puppet master and not the puppet.

This always confused me. As far as we know there was no way to reverse the magic that affected the people that ate the plagued grain. So the only logical decision is to kill them while they are still human instead of letting them turn into an undead army. Ye it's horrible but definitely saves more lives in the long run, because think of all the knights etc. that would have to die to kill an undead army the size of Stratholme. So I don't really understand why they act like Arthas is mad.

Unpopular opinion: Arthas made the right decision with Stratholme and Uther and Jaine shouldn't had abandoned him, a cold decision but a necesary one, things could have been worst otherwise, and if Uther and Jaina were to be with him, they may have guided him better and helped him thru it all. Arthas was a true king, with the cool mind to do what needed to be done in order for the kingdom to be safe.

Man, idk but nothing can compare IMO the story of warcraft/wow to other fantasy games such as final fantasy 14. I may be biased about this but I kinda like how -basic- the lore is but that didn't bore the hell out of me and the story kept me intrigued as I played through the game. I'm still playing warcraft 3 vanilla to this day!

I do so desperately wish that all of the cutscenes in the game use the same cinematic that the Stratholme demo used. That and that alone had made me so SO hyped for WC3 reforged.
I desperately pray that some talented sounds takes it on them to recreate it in the true vision the game deserves.

It sick how wow made Jaina and Arthas painfull story of how he went dark side became lich king and how she couldn't be with him anymore in comparison to the she-elf elun warrior whom Illidan loved and again. turned to fel power and she-elf liking the centaur brother of illidan. such sad and evil script.

Old Warcraft aesthetics > WoW assthetics.
To me this new artstyle present in Reforged sucks major glutes, original Warcraft 3 felt gritty and somewhere in a perfect spot between cartoony and realistic. WoW artstyle just makes everything look ridiculous.

Though I appreciate this reminisce, for some reason I thought there would be some connection from this to shadowlands: , I really doubt Arthas will be mentioned again. It's probably going to be bunch of flashbacks from now on
