Warcraft 4 Game Predictions (I don't know if this is the right direction to the next book of World of Warcraft)
1. Thrall's Arc (Horde Story): The Horde works to make amends though it may not be enough.
2. Jaina's Arc (Mage Story): The mages of Dalaran call for Jaina's help after they discovered something they shouldn't have.
3. Tyrande's Arc (Night Elf Story): Tyrande focuses on rebuilding the Night Elves and her faith in Elune.
4. Anduin's Arc (Alliance Story): Anduin faces a darkness rising within the Alliance.
5. Illidan's Arc (Illidari Story): Illidan and the Illidari have to work with the Pantheon to prevent Chaos from consuming Order.
6. Alleria's Arc (Void Elves Story): Alleria faces the dark presence of the Void Lords and the Forces of Shadow on Azeroth.
7. Arthas' Arc (Death Knight Story): Arthas is reborn as a Lord of Death with a new Helm of Domination being his anchor to the mortal plane. However, he needs a host body.

People complain that Taelia feels some kind of way about this secret being kept from her. She has every right to feel that way. Considering what she's been through, -We all decided it was for your own good. - doesn't cut it as a viable answer. Seems people only want to care about what Bolvar went through and not what Taelia went through thinking what she thought for all these years and then hearing that it was being intentionally kept from her from people she'd trusted and pledged herself to.
Her reaction was justified, and how long she held onto that anger is miniscule compared to how long she could have, considering everything. Calling it -Oh she's just having a temper tantrum- is an insult to her own trauma.

reply

I swear anyone calling Taellia's dialogue a -temper tantrum- have to think this as a child suddenly realizing her father was actually alive while she just wanted to see him once again, the father she was told was dead and she missed all this time.
She is not making it all about her, she is calling out her father trying to get an answer of what happened, why she was left behind, why no letters showed up anymore. Bolvar himself says -i hope you can forgive me- because he knows he is in part responsible for her reaction and how she feels.
. this would've been such good dialogue and interaction for the start of the expansion, really.

I'm sad about Taelia and Calia because they seemed like such good characters to have in Shadowlands on paper. The daughter of Bolvar who grew up not knowing her father was alive and cursed, and the undead long-lost sister of Arthas and rightful heir to the Kingdom of Lorderon seem like perfect protagonists for an expansion dealing with the origins of the Lich King and the realm of death. But they did nothing, like all the rest of the characters. Like WOD, Shadowlands will forever make me sad because of the sheer story potential they wasted with its premise.

Hiya Folks! Taelia & Crisp-Daddy Bolvar have yet another conversation in Zerry Morty, this time with 50% less teenage angst. Going back to BFA, Taelia and Anduin still haven-t had their in-game interaction, so that-s a bummer. Although it was implied they did talk in SW, early before Shadowlands. So, with the absence of a Lich King in the near future, I guess that means Bolvar gets to live the rest of his days as a walking furnace, and gives Taelia a pony or two to make up for all those missed birthdays.
reply

In case it escaped your notice, Taelia, your dad looks like molten rock. That would suggest he's known some pain and suffering in his life. Just maybe you could show some interest and concern for what he endured if you can get over yourself long enough. I've been hoping you would end up queen of Stormwind someday because we're running low on Wyrnns. Now I'm thinking Anduin would be better off with someone else.

Bolvar has always been my favorite character. The writers made two critical mistakes with his daughter.
When Genn talked to her he used the word tormented and not tortured. Pretty big difference.
The character in BFA she would have understood the sacrifice Bolvar made. She was raised by a war vet.
Terrible writing making Bolvar beg for forgiveness. For what?

reply

Taelia throwing these temper tantrums really rubbed me the wrong way.
Bolvar fought in a war against undeads, got gassed, burned alive, tortured by the lich king, knowingly sacrificing everything to keep the scourge in check.
Just for his own daughter be an ungrateful brat towards him.

reply

So when her father sends her away and becomes the lich effectively saving her twice. She somehow manages to make it about her. Pretty narcissistic. I guess a trend the narrative team shares I guess.
reply

Why is 90% of the characters in WoW without a mother?
I always wondered about this. Perhaps the kids in Azeroth are made in a factory?
(Jaina in BfA being the exception to confirm the rule --)

reply

No but why is Taelia there for real? Like, I get it. But I don-t. A lot of this conversation either could-ve happened in the beginning of the expansion or in the last patch.
reply

More astoundingly awful writing
I love it! At this point wow is a dumpster fire train wreck that I can-t stop looking at
Just to see how much worse it can get

reply

At this point you're probably one of the last person who succeed to make World of Warcraft Lore still interesting. No, actually just World of warcraft, period.
reply

This should be right at the beginning of the expansion, the impact would be far better. But nowadays it's all about being desapointed but not surprised.
reply

5: 30 This was the moment I lost any respect I had for Taelia and saw her for a manipulative brat in line with all that the Alliance is and stand for.
reply

can someone explain to me why Bolvar was the only person to be living from the fire? There were a ton of people lost in the dragons fire at the gate
reply

Wait, so since Bolvar lost the helm, the Undead have been rampaging? That whole reason there must always be a Lich King is the undead are unstoppable.
reply

Like in life people dying and passes people need to understand this is lore, their favorite characters can die just like in movie. Keep going!
reply

Bloody hell, that's the new He-man show all over again.
-I died to save everyone! -
-Yeah, and we had to suffer from your loss! -

reply

they ruined this world, they could have done all of this so much better. dialog, pacing, character development, its all just bad
reply

-There is a price to be paid for such vision- He was not lying, 9 months of sub baby, that's the price. See you again in another 9!
reply

Well it turns out all those things the father of Arthas told them was garbage and Greymane says they are running rampent.
reply

Who would have thought that wow would become this. Absolute trash, i am still amazed people still play this game.
reply

Let's wait to get to a strange realm/dimension to have this conversation forget sitting in oribos for a year.
reply

Affirmative action writing. Equality of outcome at play, anyone must have the right to write some lore.
